In summary

Ellsworth Country Club is a well-regarded 9-hole course praised for its friendly staff, particularly "Red" at the bar, and welcoming atmosphere. The course is described as fun and well-maintained, with open fairways and good greens, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors. However, some visitors mention issues with pace of play and the condition of certain areas like sand traps and roughs, suggesting room for improvement in course management and maintenance.

This is super nice local course with fun holes and good hospitality. It is hilly and has a lot of space off the tee. The greens were in excellent condition.

Had a good time, real wide open course that is only 9 holes. Bar inside was fun with a nice bartender.

This course is always THE FAVORITE stop on our Western Wisconsin Summer Golf Tour. Come check it out early and often. You will not be dissapointed. "Red" and his staff are top notch and always very welcoming. The course is fun, fair and very playable!

9 hole country course with small town atmosphere. Bar area and no pro shop was very friendly. Greens were countryish and a little rough but seemed to roll ok. Teeboxes were fair. Rough wasn't cut bad. Fairway was mostly just there but there were a number of bad spots likely due to recent record rainfall this year in that area. Sandtraps were a little rough and the water hazards needed some cleaning up. Carts were basic gas but weren't bad. Course was decent laid out for hits but a few holes were a little tight that that had golfers playing from other fairways. Rates were somewhat high for this…

It's a nice beginner course if it catered to beginners. 3 times I've gone with my friends (as beginners) and we're not the best but we are not nieve to golf customers. We let people play through, best ball,. etc if you schedule your tee times 10 mins apart and then have the same 9 holes for the back 18 you maybe should consider that. Nobody should be that rushed on a Tuesday with 2 tee times on their birthday. We got to play 4 out of 9 holes total because so many people were behind us and we even reserved two tee times and played best ball. At that point it is no longer our fault but timing on…

Wonderful people; both staff and other local golers. Fairways are kept well maintained, greens are just the right speed, and the mature pine trees certainly give you a sense of rough area or out of bounds, but at least you can still retrieve your ball due to them trimming the bottom six feet of sweeping branches. Very nice place. It's nine holes, and if you go around a second time, you'll probably shave of a few strokes, cuz the first time it's a little challenging.

This is my local course and I love coming here! It's not a very challenging course and doesn't have a driving range, but the holes are open and easy to play and it's very reasonably priced.

Golfing at Ellsworth Country Club is the best. It is a par 36 and a great challenge for any golfer. Come and join the fun. Excellent bar and reasonable golf and drink prices. A great place to play.

Below average golf course, doesn’t compare to any courses in the area. Greens are ok, fairways the same, rough had very long grass. Employees weren’t very friendly but our group still had a fun time!
