In summary

Cannon Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course with varied and challenging layouts, complemented by scenic views and abundant wildlife. The staff is often described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere, and the amenities, including a well-stocked pro shop and on-course services, are appreciated by many. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional negative interactions with staff, which have detracted from their overall experience.

It's our new home course even though it's 42 minutes south of Maplewood. Love the setup of the driving range and putting green. The course is in great shape, and the greens roll true and good speed. The landscaping and flowers look amazing. I'm excited that they have a cart person available to serve a wide variety of beverages.

This course is picturesque, well-maintained, and beautiful! The fairways are beautifully manicured and the greens are plush. I love the look of this course! This was my first time playing Cannon Golf Club and I loved almost every bit of it. The downside was the pace. The pace was soooo slow that I gave up by the 13th hole. Because of the very slow pace, I got out of my rhythm and had to warm up before each hit. Now I know I have to take into consideration that this is Minnesota and every golfer wants to take advantage of beautiful fall days like today; however, the establishment should not all…

We've golfed at Cannon Golf Club weekly for the past few years. The course is well cared for and playable. We like to walk as there are only a few small hills between holes that get us a little winded for a moment. The staff and management all care and are attentive. Feels like you're at a country club. I recommend giving it a try. Bring some extra balls. There is some water and other hazards on some of the more challenging holes. You're likely to see some wildlife. Eagles, Hawks, Deer and others hang out around the course. Todd

We are preparing to host a golf tournament for the 4th consecutive year at Cannon Golf Club. The team there is fantastic to work with, the course is always in top shape, and the amenities are very good. We hear nothing but positive feedback from those who golf in the tournament.

Drove down for the day and it was a fantastic course with a little of everything. They have water, elevation, dog legs. The price was very reasonable and I’ll definitely be back!

Walked on after seeing it looked open on my trip to Rochester. Track was in great shape & has plenty of great holes along the water. Greens are small and quick.fairways can be narrow, but plenty of options for tee shot placement. Would definitely play again as the price is way below the value for this course

Course is absolutely beautiful and fairly challenging on some holes. Food was solid. Golfed here first time and booked online for two. We had two ride along but there is nothing on the website to add ride alongs nor a mention to call pro shop. I mention This because the pro shop guy (heavier set fella) maybe manager got ridiculously angry and a step below a scream/yelled at me and my buddy for not calling the pro shop to tell him we had two ride alongs. Without him there the experience would’ve been tremendous. Unfortunate that such a pretty course has such an ugly face representing it and spr…

Great golf course in great condition when we played it. I will play this course again and I will introduce other players to it. I like a challenge when golfing and this course offered that.

Great course! The conditions this year are phenomenal! Just walked it with a crew of friends on an early Saturday morning at 8am! Try to come here at least a few times a year! $52 after taxes to walk! Thought that was a reach but it’s definitely worth it! Golf just isn’t cheap like it used to be!

We started playing here last year and love this course. The greens are always in amazing shape. Very consistent pace and well cared for. The par 3's are challenging, but no gimmick holes. Very fair course set up and friendly staff. Sure you might wait on some holes if you go on Saturday afternoon, but you will find that at any course on the weekends. 6 am on a Tuesday before work it's wide open.

Beautiful course. When checking in we informed the nice lady at the register we were beginners and may let the group behind us play through. The course manager pushed back a few minutes later outside prior to even teeing off, that we were not to do that because it "messes things up" So by the 8th hole he came back and told us "we had to pick up the pace, the group in front of us was already on 10" So we skipped 9 only to find out now we were directly behind the group in front of us.We felt so rushed we skipped a hole and my wife barely played at all the back 9 and started playing best shot rat…
