Navy Marine Golf Course

Navy Marine Golf Course is one of my favorite places to play on Oʻahu. What really sets it apart is the pro shop staff, they’re consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. On more than one occasion I’ve shown up without a tee time, and they’ve gone out of their way to help fit me in when possible. They handle it professionally and with a great attitude. Great place for a round of golf with friends or by yourself. I always have fun here. Not located on base, bu a government ID card is required. The good: Tee boxes and fairways are pretty nice. Fairways and rough are full of grass, no bare spots. The greens can get challenging. They tend to be firm and fast. During the summer, it tends to get a little dry, making them firmer. Fantastic golf course, a must if you travel to or are in Hawaii. Generous fairways, great greens, and very helpful staff. Price is really good too.

Can’t tell you about the course but the unprofessionalism of the employees is outstanding. Contacted the course to schedule lessons, private and group for a group of us that wanted to learn. Was given the number for the club pro as they handle it directly. Weird that I have to call or text him vice a website or service. In two weeks, after multiple follow up texts and class I’ve had one response, to say he wasn’t available on the first date I asked. I guess he either doesn’t want to teach or is so busy he doesn’t need the clients. It would help if the course had more than one pro to refer out.…

It was my first round of golf in Hawaii, and it was a great golf course with fantastic weather and a level of difficulty that wasn't too high. Since we had no golf plans, we rented golf clubs and played with only irons, no woods or hybrids. Despite the pressure, my husband made a hole-in-one on hole 5! This was my husband's 4th hole-in-one, but it was a bigger and more meaningful gift to us. We definitely have a reason to come back here! I highly recommend this golf course.

Military course. Fun and forgiving. Decent price. Easy to get to. They can almost always get you on. It’s always crowded though and the greens have never been in good shape when I’ve played. Relax, enjoy yourself, and don’t take it so serious.

Played with my military step son. Staff friendly and helpful. Good assortment of supplies. Rental clubs in better than average shape. Decent value for the price. Worked us in on a Thursday morning with no tee time. Would play here again.

One of my fav courses on the island bc of location and general ease of playing. This is a military course. Parking lot and pro shop are easy to get to. Very friendly staff!

Great course and very forgiving and affordable. I have my two lowest rounds here and always enjoy the course. One of my favorite courses on island. Phones have been out for like a month tho so can we fix that so I can make a dang tee time? Aloha time management for sure

I think some changes have been made recently. The portions are smaller, the menu has fewer options, more dishes are pasta without meat (or very little meat comes with it), & the service has somehow become slower. These were our impressions over the weekend. There were maybe a dozen other patrons scattered throughout the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't busy. The table next to us commented on the smaller portions too. Still tasty, but I wish the quality would return.

Is this a military course? MWR Hawaii needs to do better. There’s no way foreigners and locals should be getting a tee time before any military serving players.
