Friendly staff and usually a good chance to get on the course without a reservation.

I never thought I would have to make this review. I've been a consistent golfer at Newburg Village Golf Club for as long as I can remember. It was where I started golfing and it is what I once considered to be my "home course." Truth is, and I knew this, the course sucked. The greens are terribly slow and littered with weeds, plants, geese poop, and ball divots. The fairways and tee boxes are not any better. Bunkers are terrible as well, even though they were redone, I would argue they are worse now than before. The carts are louder than my mom's lawnmower and do not run very well. The fact of…

36.00 for 9 holes of golf on a ridiculously poorly kept 9 holes. The greens were the worst I've played on all year. You can pay the same for a real rockford golf course that has way better upkeep

love this course since i started playing golf. perfect environment except for all the entitled elders who think they’re on the PGA tour willing to hit up on some children trying to learn the game due to their own lack of patience. you pay 30 to play a good 9 holes, great course for teaching someone new how to play, but even at 930 in the morning someone wants to get mad and risk injuring an AGAIN NEW player. 🤦🏽 have some respect or find a different course, it’s j rockford.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of visiting Newburg Village Golf Club, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This golf club truly exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the course itself is a hidden gem. The well-maintained fairways, lush greens, and scenic views make it a joy to play. The layout offers a perfect balance of challenge and playability, catering to golfers of all skill levels. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the pristine condition of the course. The staff at Newburg Village Golf Club deserves a special mentio…

This course offers a challenging 9 holes for any golfer. Great yardage sets up every shot. Fairways are appropriate with punishing rough if you stray. Priced acouple bucks better then most and a bar awaits you to drown your sorrow over your score or just wet your whistle. Party rooms available to rent makes it a great place for meetings or get togethers.

This little course is a great place for golfers learning and who want to casually enjoy the sport. Golfers like me...You don't feel pressure to race around the course and meaness from golfers better than you. Every single person we've encountered working there is BEYOND friendly and accommodating. Hunter and Matt are the best.

Newburg village is a 9-hole course with mediocre difficulty... It is well groomed, well-managed and not too difficult to get a tee time. If you want to go a second 9 for 18 it is very reasonable. The staff will work with you any way they can. I'm very pleased with how they have always dealt with me and my son... Give it a try you'll probably go back.

Enjoyed a very nice round of golf at Newburg Village. It's a nice 9-hole course with a very friendly staff. I would recommend it for a quick 9!

9 hole course in a relatively new subdivision. The new construction means there is is really not much for trees or wooded scenery along the well-groomed fairways. The whole course wraps around the neighborhood, so nearly ever hole has houses backed up to the course on the right side. Some holes had some fun slope and roll to the fairway, but none were particularly difficult. It's an inexpensive alternative if you are tired of the same city courses.

9 holes + cart for Seniors is $24. I think that's too high. Open 4-21 and it looks like they just open the door for the first time. They do have a good deal going if you want to play 3, 4, or even 5 x a WK. Walling is then really cheap and riding isn't too expensive. Everything is really dry. Need some water.
