Sinnissippi Park Golf Club

Nice course, in great shape. However, the greens, even though they are nice, need to be watered quite a bit. They are hard and don't hold very well!

The course was nice and well taken care of. My daughter and I had fun there and we would definitely golf there again. The staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Nice local, public 9 hole course if you want a quiet course to take your time and not be pressured by those in front and back, well maintained and friendly staff, fees are reasonable. Close to the river as well so scenic, a nice retreat on a midweek afternoon.

Unfortunately, this rockford location is probably the worst in terms of public courses. It’s is poorly maintained. Staff are undoubtedly the rudest in town. You’re only allowed to play with four people so keep that large, group at home! For a nine hole course, very unfriendly environment to anyone beginning. Will not give vouchers even if they break your group.

Front desk receptionist (Reberta) was very rude. Doesn’t know what she’s doing. Double charged me for a single round of 9 holes charged me 40 dollars and was suppose to be 15 for weekday prices. Normally when I golf here everyone is very nice and inviting won’t be back on her shifts.

First time going. Had a blast with my brothers. The course is nice. Great green. Staff was great and the other people out golfing were awesome as well..😎😎👍👍

Beautiful park in Rockford IL. Playgrounds are nice for the kiddos. Hope to play golf there some day.

Even though we're experiencing drought conditions, this course is in absolutely beautiful condition. It's wonderful that they offer cheap golf on Sunday afternoons and give beginner golfers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the game thanks to the generously staggered tee times. I'm far from a beginner, but the same relaxed atmosphere helped me play some of my best golf of the year. I wish more courses would increase the time between tee times in the same manner.

Played at a wonderful event on Friday 9/20/24. The staff did a great job and the course was in great shape. This is a fun and challenging 9 hole course.
