Forest Hills Country Club

We had our daughters wedding there this winter. The club was able to accomodate our group of 135, for both the ceremony and reception. The main ballroom is a great space for pictures, dining and dancing. We had a few bumps in the planning/execution but the team at Forest Hills rallied and it was an amazing day. I know weddings are expensive, but this place seemed like a good value. Highly reccomend.

I never would have thought I would become a member of any "country club" when I was growing up. I always had a impression that it would be... well not relaxing or get more attention to assumptions vs acceptance... and boy was I wrong. Amazing staff, food, and the course is incredible! They offer family friendly events year round, and the 4th of July party is a the best day of the year! Highly recommend

This is a very lovely venue for special events. The Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps hosted their annual Hall of Fame Gala. The staff was excellent during the entire event.

Wedding and events MC and DJ of 10 years speaking here. We absolutely LOVE doing events at FHCC. Chris and her staff are some of the hardest working folks in the events industry. No detail is ever too small or overlooked. Even the vendors get treated like guests. If you have your event or wedding here you will definitely be pleased!

My wedding reception was held here on Sept. 28th and it met or exceeded all of my expectations for my reception. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful the food was. Also, we had a rather large wedding and there was plenty of space for dancing on the large dance floor and also space for guests who preferred just to visit in a quieter space. The staff at FHCC was wonderful to work with and helped us make the event all that we had envisioned.

We hosted our wedding here in 2022, and the event planner Chris was INVALUABLE. She really presented options, gave options, and gave appropriate feedback for our plans and colors based off the venue. We could mix and match food options for my husband and I, vs. the rest of the guests (I wanted a specific salad dressing, but we wanted generic for our guests and my husband), and she made it happen. Member review: This is one of the most fun and challenging courses (back tees) I have ever played in my 22 years of golf. Greens are massive and well maintained, and with a different pin position every day, feels like you’re playing a new course. Fantastic and friendly staff, good amenities, and great food from the restaurant.

We had our wedding here and it was an amazing day/night thanks to the staff at FHCC! Chris and her staff are the BEST and she goes above and beyond to make sure your event goes as planned! Plus the food is delicious!!! We use FHCC for work events as well and again Chris and her staff make everything run smoothly! Highly recommend having your events here!

Great Wedding experience!! Can’t say enough about Chris and her staff they served great food, worked with us on all the details for the venue and even had our own fleet of golf carts to use for taking photos of the wedding party on the grounds! Definitely the Best value around Rockford hands down! We would work with Chris M. again in a heartbeat.

July 26, my husband and I had the best wedding at Forest Hills Country Club. All thanks to the fabulous coordinator at FH, Chris. Chris was so organized, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and reassuring. She is so good at her job, we can’t thank her enough. The venue/ golf course was perfect. I don’t golf. My husband does and enjoys the course greatly. Their dining is top notch. Absolutely love their fried chicken sandwich and tots. Their ribs are a good choice too.
