In summary

Oak Country Club is appreciated for its laid-back atmosphere, affordability, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for casual golfers and beginners. The course offers a challenging layout with unique holes, and many enjoy the relaxed environment without the pressure of strict regulations. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as small greens and rough fairways, as well as occasional slow pace of play and confusing layouts. Despite these drawbacks, the club remains a favored spot for those seeking a budget-friendly and enjoyable round of golf.

If you like a challenging course, but don’t like all the stuffy pretentiousness of some golf courses, then this course is for you. Laid-back, friendly atmosphere fun and challenging 18 hole course.

This course is really only useful to initially practice learning golf. The greens are tiny, the “fairways“ are just shorter cut fescue. Gravel paths, very confusing layout.

Oak Country stands out as a fantastic golf course option, especially given its affordable price point. It's an ideal course for beginners looking to learn the game, offering a forgiving layout that builds confidence without being overly challenging. A huge bonus is their participation in the Youth on Course program, which provides incredible savings for junior golfers. Beyond the great value, you'll find the owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. This course is very relaxed and perfect for a casual round

I play this course on a regularly for the last 3-4 years. Each year the greens and fairways are getting better but could still use some extra attention. the best part, you can usually just walk on but wondering how long that will last with the updates. They also have a Night Golf on Saturdays, once a month in the summer and it is a blast!

A fun course that has holes that will challenge your golf game. Reviews that call out the course quality do have merit, as some greens are not superior. However, it is an affordable course that gets you out to play a round. IMO, its well worth it.

Played in a tournament and I wasn't expecting much based on the website and other pictures from Google reviews but the course is just not great. It's basically playing in your backyard with maybe 3 greens that weren't in terrible condition. The pics I added are standard putting surface, good luck on a line with a true roll. 😄

Played the course for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The people were friendly, the course was in nice shape- especially for the price, and it was also busy for a Friday morning/early afternoon. Will definitely be back.

Worth it. Ok, Ima-outta-towner passing through. If you are expecting serious golf, do not play here (there is fun to be had though, read on) Course in very rough shape. Greens almost unplayable at times. That said...we...had...fun. It's an old course like the ones I grew up playing, where the course was "built to fit" the area. Good yardage markers, difficult cart terrains, cheap, beer = fun. Just to swing some sticks, see some interesting holes, hang out with friends, worth it.

This is a fun place to get a round in. Pros are it's not long and yet it's still challenging. You must select your shot not just grip and rip, prices are very affordable. Cons. Tee boxes... but with the amount of volume they are getting i get it. Other is you may get lost between holes 1 and 2.. Fairways are good and greens are in great shape. Will come back and play again for sure!

One of the most laid back, comforting and challenging course around. Prices are great for that reason. Very, VERY kid friendly (if they behave themselves) and allowed wife, daughter and I to give it a go !!! Tee boxes are a work in progress, fairways are great and the dome greens make you pay with strokes. Definitely play here again and thanks again !!!

Course is challenging, unique and the price is right. I would recommend this fun course for someone not trying to play too serious. Similar to Smileys but with carts and a few more par 4's and one 2 par 5's. Quality of course is what you would expect for the price, not too bad. Biggest complaint is they over book themselves. We had 3 different groups with the same tee time as we did this weekend. It was kind of a first come first serve. Pace of play was very slow.
