In summary

Gardner Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and generally enjoyable layout, with a mix of challenges that cater to various skill levels. The course features nine holes, which can be played twice for a full 18-hole experience, and includes amenities such as a driving range and a clubhouse offering refreshments. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with course maintenance, slow pace of play, and management issues, including the requirement of tee times and limited availability of carts.

If you're looking for a cheap place to play golf with a friendly staff and great hot dogs and maybe a cold beer, this is it. The course Is certainly nothing to brag about, certainly not the shape of it or the cart paths.Would have to say they're subpar at Best For condition. But if you like the first nine, I'll guarantee you you're gonna love the second nine. We enjoy it

Disc Golf Review: Overall a nice course, a good mix of short and long shots. Technical shot to test good players. Average players may dislike this course. No Signage which sucks but overall I like this course.

I used to come to this golf course all the time, but I'm probably never going back. There was a group of nine people who booked three different tee times and they were playing super slow to the point one of my friends wanted to hit into them. We watched them multiple times talk about which ball to play, which each time took them about ten to twenty minutes (did this for about three to four times each hole). We even told the marshal and he told us it took them about 3 hours just to play nine holes. The funny part was one of them almost choked on a hot dog. I would rather go to another course so…

This course used to be great because it was cheap and you could always get on. Now the old guy running the counter has ruined it the greens and fairways still suck but even if no one is on 1 or 9 he won't let you on with out a tee time skip this and go some where else this course is not nice enough to require a tee time every time and the old guy always give me grief

This is what the Pruitts have left Gardner with. They can say whatever they want but they have had the lease for the last 30 years. It should not have been abandoned like this.

Reasonably priced, friendly staff, rarely crowded, we play weekdays, greens and fairways in good shape, and ongoing improvements evident. High handicappers do have course management decisions to make, lay up or go for it decisions etc. I don't lose many balls here, a plus. Big thing for us? No golfers behind us breathing down our necks to get moving faster cuz we aren't so good. Senior golfers, that's us. 🤪

This course is good for the money. The course is a 9 hole but played twice will make it an 18. The course has some challenges which is nice and elevation changes/dog legs. Fairways are hit or miss on their upkeep. The course management is trying to bring the course back to a nicer course so fairways are striped with dead strips and new grass strips. The rough is shaggy with weeds in places and overall the course is not smooth as an upscale course. Again for the money you can't complain too much. Only receiving 3 stars as this is far from a higher scale golf course and wish it was a true 18 cou…

Waste/money Less than 1 star. 9 holes and they charge 18, morethan 18 anywhere else in KC and don’t take care of their course. Beginner/waste of money

Visited for a round of disc golf (DG course is nearby but technically not the same ownership). The management of the golf course was very friendly and helpful even though I wasn't even a patron of the golf course. While I was at the clubhouse, I did take note that the carts were all in great condition, the golf course looked well maintained, and the shop was stocked with beer and other refreshments. Specifically for the disc golf course, I would give 3 stars. The course was quality and decently maintained, but lacked any signage so it's a maze the first time out. There is also no true parkin…
