In summary

Prairie Highlands Golf Course receives high praise for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly and helpful staff, and enjoyable layout. Many appreciate recent improvements, particularly to the bunkers and overall course aesthetics. However, some visitors have noted issues with bunker conditions, particularly after rain, and occasional wear on tee boxes. The new restaurant, Crush Grill, and ongoing clubhouse improvements are also positively highlighted.

Prairie Highlands now has a new restaurant called Crush Grill! The atmosphere is new, clean, and upscale, the entire staff is super courteous and friendly, and the food is AMAZEBALLZ!!! Special shout out to Jeremy (one of the managers) and Becky (one of the bar tenders) who personally helped me with my order and experience. Both took great care of me and we will definitely be going back!!

Not a bad place to golf and not a great place to golf. I have never had a round of golf when you can hit out of bunkers. They are filled with water or rock hard. If you want hot food or even a hot dog don’t try before 12:30 or 1:00 in the afternoon. I will still play here but if your looking to impress someone don’t bring them here.

This course is so nice I half-expected Augusta to call and ask for it back. Fairways like green velvet, greens so smooth my putter blushed, and views that made me forget I triple-bogeyed the last hole. 10/10, would lose balls here again!

Great private course. Interesting layout as you go by the pavilion once per side and the turn. Greens and fairways are in very good shape, especially at the end of the season. Staff is top notch.

Pretty nice course. Surrounded by lots of housing. Only played 9 holes. Thought it was funny there must have been 5-6 people on their patios sun tanning. Lots of construction going on in the parking lot on the clubhouse.

For a private course, the tee boxes were very worn. The fairways and greens were well kept.

This is a formerly public course turned private recently. They underwent bunker renovations and installed nice white sand bunkers throughout the course which adds a nice aesthetic. The course was in pretty good shape overall for October. They layout is quite forgettable though and I didn't leave the round feeling like I had a great golfing experience. To sum it up in a few words, it's a well-manicured, average Kansas City golf course. I'm not sure what it costs to be a member here, but hopefully it's reasonable for the golf that you get. I also wasn't extremely impressed with the practice faci…

Private course in good shape. It has several four tees with a couple extra combination tee ratings so you can vary your play on the same course. Playable, but challenging if you make it that. There is water and sand. Great bunkers. Service is good as well.

Has amazing potential! Layout is amazing and challenging but still fun. But sadly it's just another Great Life course. Greens are rock hard and not well kept. Cant hit out of bunkers (unless you like hitting off concrete) fairways are pretty beat up. It sucks because this course could be one of the best in the area.
