What People Say

In summary

Oak Grove Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff and ongoing efforts to improve the course, which many find fun and challenging to play. The pro shop and overall environment receive positive feedback, and the course layout is noted as a highlight. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course conditions, including greens and fairways needing maintenance, and the lack of amenities like water on the course. There are mixed opinions on the value for money, with some feeling the fees are too high given the current state of the course.

We come here often! Service is always good! This is our first day with our 5 month old and I ran off and completely forgot baby wipes! Hannah in the office was kind enough to run grab us some! Kindness goes along ways! Thanks Hannah and Oak grove!

Had been a few years since I'd been over to Oak Grove but it was a good surprise! The course is leaps and bounds better than it was a few years ago. Keep in mind it is still a small budget course and they are working on problem areas but the course was fun and challenging to play. The value for their 4 person special on Sat. Aug. 23rd was well worth the money and we enjoyed the day. Great environment from the pro shop through the entire course. Would recommend to anyone looking for a round on the weekend.

Worst $40 golf course I have ever played. Greens were trash grass. Fairways were ankle deep sand traps were no sand just weeds tee boxes were concrete hard could hardly get tees in the ground one temporary green the cup was almost grown over with grass . Will never be back

Awful course conditions and just taking peoples money cost 45 dollars and they wouldn’t give us a refund after we played one hole. Course is probably the worst this I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s pathetic that they think that’s acceptable to keep your course like that and still charge people money to play it. Couldn’t tell if it was a golf course or landfill world never ever recommended. Just plain out disgusting. Save yourself time and money and go the golf ranch.

Played again hoping for better conditions. The greens hadn’t been cut after the overnight rains. Had to putt over rows of grass and other things that had run across the greens. There was no water on the course despite a number of coolers. It is too hot not to have water out. $53 for range balls, cart, and military discount green fees is too much for these conditions.

Played two years in a row in June and greens are not worth putting on. Our group decided to have a 2 stoke max in putting. Rough is too high in most places. You just have to drop a ball and move on.

The pro shop and the course are both very pleasing! I had a wonderful time with my family and I would 10/10 recommend to other friends. Thank you oak grove!

You can tell they are working hard to make this a top notch public golf course. This is the first public golf course that I've played that has concrete cart paths all the way around. Greens are coming along and the fairways will probably be next. Can't wait to play here once they are finished.

This is a little hidden gem. It's being worked on, but i feel like once it's done, it will be one of the better courses in the area. It's hard to tell where the holes are, I would say more signs are needed to show where the holes are located, starting with #1 and #10.

Awful! This place and New Haven are owned by the same person. In 12 years of going to these two places off and on, we have never been charged for me just to ride in a cart! They say they have always charged, but I haven't once been charged!! $17 for my butt to sit in a cart!! No thanks!!!
