This is a really challenging and fun golf course with a championship layout design. It has pretty view on the back nine where most of the holes are located near the lake. Although the path might be a little beat up, love playing on this course and it’s a good place for practicing

As a high handicap golfer, I found it to be the most challenging one I've ever played. You have to think on every hole as the terrain and layout are well designed. Even though it's 80 miles away from home, it's worth the drive! Cost is low for such a great course, too!

First time playing The Golf Ranch and had a blast. One of the coolest, most beautiful public courses I've ever played. At $35 Probably the most value I've had playing golf. Much of the front 9 meanders through the woods as If it was meant to be there. Tons of tight fairways and elevation changes. The back 9 wanders around the lake and has some truly scenic holes. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what other reviewers were complaining about when they complained about cart paths, but now I know. That is to say I understand but their criticism is much over town if you ask me. We played aft…

Friendly staff and the layout is good but the owners should be ashamed of the condition of everything. For $35 it's a good tract to learn but I would pay more for a better kept course. Hopefully someone buys it and does a redo.

One of the most scenic courses in the state. Elevation changes and tree-lined fairways challenge every level of golfer. The greens were the best I have played on a public course in the region. Fair and fast. I can highly recommend The Golf Ranch. You will not find any more scenic views on any other course in the state.

Friendly staff and challenging course. The lack of cart paths makes for sort of a rough ride. Scenic views of Bringle Lake. No parallel holes, so when you're playing a hole, no interference from folks on adjacent holes. Prices are fair, especially on weekdays. Seems a good value on a challenging course.

Really nice public course, all the greens were kept up well along with the fairway. The only down side to this course is the cart paths. There's lots of holes without cart paths. Aside from that its a good place to have fun.

I wish there was a 3 1/2 star rating option. Texarkana Golf Ranch is #24 on a top 50 list put out by Dallas News if public courses to play in Texas. In my humble opinion that is TOO high. What this course has going for it is the scenic location. Tree lined fairways and built around a lake. I counted 20 courses in the list that I've played that are in much better OVERALL condition. Driving range was adequate as well as practice putting green. What this place lacks is a consistency of cart paths. 80% of the time your driving on dirt paths with tree roots sticking out and bumping all over the pla…

One of the prettiest courses I’ve ever played. The fairways are greens are excellent. I drove from Shreveport and it was well worth it. Lots of hills and fantastic views. Very courteous staff that actually said “make yourself at home.” I will be back.

A great test of golf for all skill levels. The course was a little rough in spots but not enough to ruin a great experience. The holes close to the lake are very scenic. Inside staff are very welcoming and friendly. A college golf tournament delayed public play but it is the college's course, after all. Our 2nd time here. A great stop in my RV travels with Harvest Host.

1st time here even though it's 1 1/2 miles from my house. We really enjoyed the driving range! 1st time my youngest has ever used a club too!

The course layout and lake views are incredible. The course is in decent shape (could be better), but this is one heck of a great value...and it's beautiful. Nice staff too
