In summary

Oak Trail Golf Course receives praise for its friendly staff, ongoing improvements under new ownership, and its suitability for beginners and casual play. The course is noted for its pretty setting and value for money, with amenities like a driving range and an adjoining restaurant. However, some visitors have criticized the confusing layout and inconsistent course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, and a few have mentioned issues with staff interactions.

Been playing here for a couple of years. Course never really gets better. Tee boxes hardly have any grass on em, fairways are rough, all year long. And now, they charge me $10 extra for my 6 year old to ride around in the cart with me while I play? Said it was a charge for an “extra rider” As if it’s any different that I come alone and do the same exact thing without the passenger. If I’m gonna spend $40 to play golf, I’ll just go on down the road to Ferris or Kemp and play on a course with proper greens and fairways.

All staff members are good except for one who likes to harass you for no reason. The course is great to practice and learn how to play on. It is lots of fun when with friends and has good decent members to play with. I recommend it but def. Not a 5 star place 4 is over exaggerating a little bit but it a fine place to play golf.

This Course under new ownership a few years back, has REALLY improved in all areas, Greens, fairways, t-boxes, and just finished the cart paths with ground rock that is incredibly nice. Plus, the adjoining restaurant, Moonlighter, which a signed score card gets you a 15% discount on AWESOME food. THIS MAY BE THE BEST KEPT SECRET FOR GOLF IN THE GOLDEN CIRCLE. Not far off the freeway stop in for some golf fun. New carts and friendly staff. Make sure to pick up a score card. It has a map, you will need it. Layout can be confusing, but that's half the fun. Hope to get back that way again. Oh, stop by the Moontower for a cool and refreshing beverage. Food good too.

Golf was good fellowship was better. The course is beginning to green up due to rains . The grounds crew work all the time to improve our experiences . Great staff.

Not a bad nine hole country course. The routing is very confusing as the current 5th appears to be the old 1st and you basically go past the 3rd hole to play the 2nd. Pretty piece of property with all the oak trees and decent conditions. This wouldn't be a bad choice if you are in the area and looking for a golf fix.

Play here often. Nice enough and challenging enough for my level of game, i.e. high handicap. Practice range is available. Inexpensive as well. New owner is making steady improvements. Currently about 3 1/2 stars.

Very improved 9 hole course. Always working on the course to further improve. Good for Corsicana. Keep up the good work!

This course is probably the worse course in Navarro county you land a ball on the green and it rolls all the way off and the fairways are like hitting off rock do not recommend

The clubhouse staff was great. I have low expectations for course conditions in the winter but these were bad for $30

Fairly flat course. Great for the beginner, relaxing and enjoying yourself. Only 9 holes though.
