In summary

Oakwood Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, reasonable pricing, and picturesque setting, making it a popular choice for golfers in the area. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the amenities, such as the on-site restaurant and bar cart service. However, some golfers have noted issues with slow pace of play, particularly on weekends, and a few have reported negative interactions with staff at the pro shop. Additionally, the course can become challenging due to narrow fairways and dense tree lines, which can make finding stray balls difficult.

Course is well kept and really nice to play. Fairways and greens are smooth, and everything feels in good shape. It’s not overly crowded either, which makes it even better. Staff were friendly and the whole place is just relaxing. Would definitely come back again.

Recent 9 holes - its a nice but somewhat small and tight for our liking. Reasonably price. Lots of trees and if you go in the Fall (like we did) - expect a lot of leaves and any ball that makes its way into those leaves is very difficult to find. Moral of the story - hit straight! We didn't use the clubhouse but everyone seemed nice and courteous. All said, a nice little course to spend a couple hours at - but maybe earlier in the year and not on the weekend (was very busy and a little slow moving)

Great 18-hole course. Greens and fairways are in great condition, some of the tee-boxes could improve but otherwise no complaints! Our pace was approx 4 hours and 5 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Reasonable rates, and fair drink cart prices. Would recommend!

It's a really nice little course. Not the best, but it's good value for money

Great course. A few challenging ones but it has breath taking views. 25 minute drive from Winnipeg. Nice restaurant inside for chilling after a round.

A great 18 hole golf course in the R M of Ste. Anne - well kept greens! A mid range cost /outdoor toilets on the back 9/water challenge and a club house/restaurant! It was great, we enjoyed ourselves! Check it out!

Well groomed, picturesque course. $80 on a weekend with 1/2 a cart is fair for the level of care you expect. Pace if play is not enforced well but that is to be expected with a mid range public offering. Worth the drive from Winnipeg.

Another lovely course in Manitoba that is well maintained. Oakwood doesn't present too many challenges for a golfer who can keep the ball in the fairway. I only hit driver twice; the majority of par 4s set up perfectly for a long iron off the tee and a short iron or wedge onto the green. The pace of play on the weekends is quite slow. 18 holes with a cart took me 4 hours and 24 minutes. I would go again.

Nice course but they really need a Marshall or to space tee times farther apart. Really slow pace every time I go

Overall the course is very nice. BUT the older man at the front desk, accused us for breaking the cart “coming up to us by are vehicles (yelling at us), saying that we broke it. He then proceeded to Black-male us saying, that he would keep are range finders if we don’t pay for the damages”. We then proceeded to go to the desk to talk to him then management came out and told us we are fine and that one of the carts was like that to begin with. Overall VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, and would like to see some sort of action taken by management!!!

Good golf course. Popular course in the area, so it is almost always busy. There are a few challenging holes, but also a lot of holes that are pretty wide open.

Shorter course with a par of 72. However, many of the fairways are not that wide with mature trees on both sides. A few doglegs too. Fairways are in good condition and are quite short, greens are average size and are in excellent condition. An enjoyable rural course with a reasonable price. Approximately $65.
