In summary

Old Drovers Run Golf is praised for its challenging and well-maintained course, featuring a Scottish links style with large, forgiving fairways and numerous deep bunkers that add to the difficulty. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and accommodating nature, contributing to an overall positive experience. However, some visitors note that the bunkers and certain areas of the course could benefit from better maintenance, and there are occasional issues with slow pace of play and course conditions.

Great course. Great front end staff. Maintenance / greens keeper team is outstanding. One of the most challenging 9 hole courses around.

Had an amazing time here taking my cousin on his first golf outing! The fairways are wide and quite forgiving, The sand traps pair great with the more open course. Being used to narrow fairways this was a fun change. The Pro shop guy was friendly. Overall great course with good rates! Will play here again!

Have played here a few times over the years. Has lots of potential, and has a good overall layout, but there doesn’t appear to be much intention to improve the course. Bunkers are either weeds and hard pack dirt or water logged (Think WW1 battlefield), also usually backed up at tee box with lots of garage tees strewn about. Nothing against the course itself or the people who run it, (who are very accommodating), but for a few bucks more I would highly recommend driving the extra few minutes to play 18 at maplewood for about the same price as 9 holes here.

A hidden gem. They have built a great nine holes of golf (apart from the bunkers). Greens are too sloppy but in good shape but only running about 8.5 (there's so much slope it would be hard for them to get them any quicker). They moved a load of dirt when building the course and they've got great contours for the fairways and rough. If they fill in half the bunkers (more actually) and tidy up the ones that are left this would be the best nine hole golf course in Manitoba. And.... the people running the place are super nice. Definitely worth a visit!

I went to this course in 2019 and the condition of the course was atrocious, I promised myself I would never go back! Today I ended up going back (not by choice) and I must say I was pleasantly surprised, the course was clean, well maintained, reasonably priced and super fun to play. My only complaints are the sand was hard (closer to clay) and the carts where a little to slow for my liking but overall the course is moving in the right direction. I definitely recommend giving this course a try.

A great Scottish links style course located in the town of Niverville. Large forgiving fairways, however, it does have deep pothole bunkers and rolling hills which you'd see in a traditional links style course. Fairways for the most part were nice but areas do need some more grass. Those areas were the ground was pretty compacted as well which is why I'm giving 4 stars. The clubhouse is small and nothing fancy but does its purpose. Will definitely be coming back!

Fun 9 hole course that is improving all the time. The greens are in fantastic shape this year, and the course is getting better as time goes along. The grounds crew has shown dedication to making things better and deserve a lot of credit. The staff in the pro shop are friendly and accommodating. I am excited for the future of this golf course.

Very big and difficult course. It’s very open but lots is bunkers. We played 18 so 9 twice and this par 78 almost killed us. There is no beverage on the course and it’s very long.

Not a bad little golf course. Can see it getting better once grass is green and growing again, so I really can't wait for that only really thing it could use is more sand in the really deep sand traps so they aren't such big craters. But other than that perfect well priced course. Deffinatly gonna be a go to course from now on!!
