In summary

Kingswood Golf and Country Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual and tournament play. The scenic setting along the LaSalle River and the accommodating clubhouse and amenities add to its appeal. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as drainage problems and temporary greens, and occasional disruptions from maintenance activities.

In the middle of our round in the 10th hole a groundsmen turned the sprinklers on the green and refused to turn them off and let my partner hit his chip shot and sat there smoking and taunting us. On the next hole another strange man with a tongue ring drove up to us and threatened us with being banned and somehow had no idea why we would be upset by having our round interrupted my course staff to water a green. This was when the course wasn’t busy and many holes were free to water. He told us “that’s how we do it here and to pick up and “take a two putt”. Who employs these kinds of low life’s…

Course is in great shape this year. A fun challenging golf course but still good for novice golfers. The patio is quite nice after to hit the 19th hole. Staff are friendly and the cart staff are prompt. A great way to be just outside the city with less noise and a slightly less busy experience. Highly recommended

One of my favorite places to spend my free time christie put on one of the tournoments I played in this year and what a great experience. Course is in incredible shape and the staff is next level. Dave and senuth in the pro shop are both legends. 10 outta 10 recommend

Nice course with a great club house. I went here on a Sunday with a large group and was surprised how quickly they kept things moving. The beverage cart was very accommodating with special requests that kept everyone happy. There are a number of scenic holes if you have a chance to stop and take some pictures.

Kingswood Golf and Country Club offers a challenging round with a mix of open fairways and tightly wooded holes. As a par 71 course, it provides three tee box options, catering to players of different skill levels. The layout features scenic highlights like the picturesque par 3s on holes 8, 12, 13, and 17, although the similarity between holes 8 and 17 may confuse some players. While the course has its strengths, there are areas that could benefit from improvement. The driving range, recently updated in 2025, still faces issues with range balls that are often smooth or cracked. Moving the gr…

Kingswood is a challenging par 71. Some of the par 4 offer tempting shots at the green, while others require a definite use of placement golf. Greens are excellent and offer just the right amount of challenge. You will enjoy how this course zig zags and moves around the LaSalle river.

The old part of the front 9 is nice and well manicured, holes 6 and 7 however are in the new development area and are a) a very long walk away and b) very plain and not in keep with the rest of the course. We only wanted to play 9 holes and the walk back from the 9th to the parking lot was a) a very long way and b) not signposted at all. If you like to walk and play 9 holes Kingswood isn't a great choice........

Beautiful course, very well maintained. It's a long walk, so a cart would be recommended.

Whole golf course was in terrible shape. I understand this year was pretty dry but we had to play with sprinkers on, on the fairway and on the green. We were putting with water being sprayed on us. Course was in terrible shape. There are way better options for the price elsewhere.
