Long time member and golfer. More recently became active in league play. Hands down this is the best golf course in Winnipeg. As the club finishes renovating its third and final nine, I am excited to be able to have three distinctly designed nines in ongoing front and back combos. With pin placement changing almost daily, there is something new all the time. This has become not only a golfer’s course, but a 3 nine rotation creates an incubator for novice golfers to get course time without feeling the pressure of other players. We used this venue for our graduation reception in November. The venue is a relatively central location and has beautiful scenery. The club was the perfect size for our ~100 person seated event with classy architecture and design. We got some nice class photos inside and outside. We chose the lunch buffet option and everyone was impressed with the quality of buffet food which came out perfectly on time. Nice and quiet, perfect place to unwind and play with friends

A beautiful venue, with a very cozy and classy vibe. Dining room and lounge are separate. Service was friendly and fantastic. Food was amazing. Overall my group very much enjoyed our experience and would recommend.

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience with our wedding at St. Charles. We booked the venue in 2019 for a 2020 wedding, which had to be postponed because of Covid. We finally had a 2021 date and the provincial restrictions were lifting. The only issue we had left was that St. Charles would not be flexible or accommodate us in any way under the Covid guidelines. Thankfully we were able to find a new venue a few weeks before our wedding. For couples considering St. Charles for your wedding, I would suggest that you look elsewhere. I've been here twice now, both times as a wedding guest, and both times it's been fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are willing to go out of their way to make sure you are happy and satisfied. Well done!

Beautiful golf course with very good conditions, despite being early in their season and a harsher than usual winter. Friendly helpful staff. Played their Woods 9 twice as a reciprocal from my own club...they had a tournament here on their other two 9's. Would love to play their other two 9's if I'm back this way for business.

Very poor customer service from Craig Strand, one of the Golf Pros, at St. Charles Golf and Country Club. My son's custom clubs were ordered on 23rd of June and were due on July 5th. It was estimated 5 to 10 working days.Despite being told that he was returning to Scotland where he lives and works on 18 July, the clubs did not come in time. My son called repeatedly (the staff neither listen nor communicate with each other), but they did not bother following up on the order until we began to complain vehemently.
