Pinawa Golf Club

Good service but its never been a great experience when it comes to the meal. We've been at least 5 or 6 times and there's always been some kind of issue. We actually leave town to eat these days.

This course is an absolute gem. Beautiful natural scenery and a challenging layout. Excellent condition and fast tricky greens. The people that are maintaining and operating this course are doing a great job. A pleasure to play !

Very prompt service while it was busy! Enjoyed the view of some deer on the golf course while eating a great burger. The inside may be considered dated however I think the inside feels comforting and nice. We ate on the patio which is in decent condition but the food and the service made up for anything I thought was less than ideal.

Had a blast with friends going down the channel. We took 5 hours to do it this time. Always a good time!! Then drive over to the country club to eat. Good food after working up an appetite.

Unfriendly wait staff. Waitress (Breanna, I think) overcharged my meal and then didn’t refund me the correct amount and also didn’t apologize for the mistake. Food wasn’t great, fries were oversalted and half of ours were cold while the other half were hot. Chili was cold and cheese wasn’t melted in the cheeseburger wrap. Meals were supposed to come with coleslaw, waitress only gave one of us macaroni salad instead and then only asked the rest of us if we wanted some AFTER we complained about it and waitress overheard. Pinawa Golf and Country Club is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, Greg at the pro shop was incredibly friendly and accommodating, setting the tone for a fantastic day. The course itself was in pristine condition, with breathtaking views that easily surpass those at Falcon Lake. The beverage cart girl was a delight, keeping us refreshed, and the coolers with ice on the carts were a thoughtful bonus. We had never been there before so we weren’t sure if we were to just go seat ourselves or wait to be seated. When we asked one of the employees she was pretty rude in her response (attitude, responded to us like we were dumb and we should know the answer). We would have left and went somewhere else but it seems like there were no other restaurants in Pinawa (that were open). So we stayed and ordered. Came to Pinawa Golf & Country Club for a friends bachelor party earlier this summer. The course was in great shape and the staff and marshal were both very friendly and helpful. The course itself is a great 18 hole course that has excellent variety. Definitely recommend this course to anyone in the area.

Do not golf here. Very little course maintenance occurs since the board uses the green fees to fund the curling club. Green fees are high ($85) but the course is in terrible shape. Greens are long, fairways are brown since they are never watered. Balls run through the fairway since there is little grass. Sand traps are abysmal. For this price much better alternatives exist such as Falcon Lake, Grand Pines, Granite Hills. I played the course on July 14th, 2025. Many interesting and beautiful golf holes. Greens generous in size with some contour to make putting interesting.
