In summary

Pine Island Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, challenging layout, and friendly, helpful staff. The course offers a good mix of holes suitable for various skill levels, with some unique features such as rolling hills and water hazards. However, some visitors have noted issues with irrigation leading to wet spots, occasional slow pace of play, and the need for better signage between holes.

I enjoy golfing here, I am relatively new to golfing and this course presents a lot of facets that allow me to work on all aspects of my golf game. The driving range is easy to get to and has a self serve option. Lastly the staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice course. Today there were some serious wet spots and puddles even though we haven't had rain. I'm assuming the mushy areas are from faulty sprinkler heads. Overall nice course. Just a note: with this being fall season, lots of leaves on the ground so it was difficult to find my husband's white balls. I on the other hand have neon Volvik golf balls that were easy to locate amongst the leaves. It was very busy, which is a good thing, so the pace was a little slower than we normally golf, but not bad at all. Golfers, please be courteous and allow golfers to go through, it is proper golf etiqu…

OK, I would normally look at giving this course 3 or 4 stars, but played this in the middle of summer during a drought, and the tees, fairways, and rough were in really bad shape and looked liked like their irrigation system was being worked on. However, played the tips and the layout was quite challenging with the greens in really good shape. For first timers, pay attention to the course map as some of the holes cross each other and get confusing on where to go.

Nice public golf course in Pine Island. Worth a round or two if you’re in the area. Played from the back tees & it’s very manageable! I was gonna give lower ratings because a ladies league had cut us short of a few holes. However, the front desk lady was supper friendly & gave us free returning rounds. The course was still worth it! The par 3s & short par 4s were fun to play. We didn’t get to play #7, 8 & 13. Greens were pretty fast & smooth. Few dead areas but it didn’t effect play. Fairways were average for a public course. My buddy & I were trying to play as many holes as we can do didn’…

I had fun here! The game is enjoyable when you are doing well! Perfect day for a round! Nice and fresh cut fairways and the greens were perfect. Keep it in the fairway, and you drool not lose any balls. Found a few extra killing time waiting for my turn. You will love it here, so grab some friends and get out and support your local golf club! #getoutngolf #tellemtbonesentya

This is a very nice course to golf at if you are ever in the neighborhood. The staff was real nice and inviting! And were very knowledgeable about the course that was kind of helpful! The front nine is older than the back nine. The fairways were very well kept but keep it on the Fairway! long grass is sticky Fairways were well maintained! The greens just got aerated so wasn't the greatest but still if you're good you can 2 putt it! Met some nice people that live on hole 5 out golfing on the course! It was a good time , Anytime is a good time to golf! So get out to Pine Island and bring someone…

Best Public Golf Course in South Eastern Minnesota. Frienldy, Courteous Staff. Fast, true greens and lush fareways! They should change the name of the course to 'The Jewel'! It's one the best kept secrets in the golfing family!

This is one classic golf course. The front 9 is older than the back 9. This is a great place for any level of a golfer! The grounds were nice, they were well maintained and layout was easy enough for the walking golfer, but I'd recommend a cart if you have a foursome! The staff was nice and inviting! I would play it again. The only thing i ask is if they would get a ball marker with their name it!! Magnetic or a poker chip! That's what cost them a star! They had everything else a golfer needs to get in a great round of golf! So get out there and play.. support your local golf course! Tell em T…

Fantastic public golf course. Well maintained, interesting layout (#4 and #16 are great par 3s), has some length from the back tees. Greens are large and in great shape. Generally has good pace of play. Definitely worth the 20-25 minute drive from Rochester. Tremendous value, especially during the weekdays.

Gave 4 stars, just because the tee boxes/ub house/ cart path I would definitely play here again. Very challenging if played from the back tees, played the jewel in lake City the day before and for the money I would chose this one.
