If you’re looking for a extended stay RV park for the season, then this is a great place to be. Lots of activities, great pool and fitness center, with lovely showers. It’s a clean park and beautifully landscaped. A plethora of craft rooms like sewing and woodworking, a card room, and a lots of other activities designed to keep the over 55 crowd as active as they want to be. We have stayed here twice in our CLASS A motorhome. The most recent visit proved how accommodating and professional they are. I accidentally booked the wrong start date for our stay and they were kind enough to shift our dates without charging us extra. The park itself is immaculate and filled with very friendly people! Everyone said hello, asked us where we were from, and how long we were staying. Most people we met were snowbirds (many from Canada). The pool is immense and the spa would easily hold 30 people! Very nice well maintained resort! RV camping at this location is an afterthought to selling home sites. Utilities are far behind most RVs based on where they want you to park rv, front close to street. The water is located further due to it being on the opposite side of the power pedestal. Unless you're well prepared or have been here before you need extra water, sewer and possibly power extensions to hook up and park where they require you to. We were at an RV site so I did not answer the Rooms or Service? Everyone at the Pueblo El Mirage office is always sooooo friendly and professional! So many fun things to participate in if you feel like it, or you can just sit back and do nothing, entirely up to yoU!The resort is top notch and we are looking forward to coming back next year!

The resort is nice. The only thing that was a drawback for us traveling in an RV was trash pick up only occurred on Monday & Thursday. Not allowed to keep trash outside until pick up and space in RV’s is limited. No on site dumpster to account for that. Water pressure was lacking as well as your sharing a water source with others at the back of your site.

We enjoyed the Luke Air Force Base air show. The pool was closed for 3.5 days out of our 7 day stay. The day we were checking out, we looked through the welcome packet to find the check out time but it was not listed anywhere. The front gate gentlemen came by in the morning and we asked him what the checkout time was; he said 11:30 or 12:00. We asked if we could leave by 1:00 and he said he wouldn’t throw us out and laughed - very nice man! At 12:30 we got a phone call from the office and this lady was NOT NICE AT ALL!! We stayed in the RV Park. It's old school but pretty nice and could use more concrete (like a pad to park on). The Patio's are pretty narrow. The Picnic tables are nice. The pool is nice, but the exercise room has really old equipment and I probably wouldn't take a shower in the bathrooms. The Golf Course has a good layout, but it is pretty run down. It probably hasn't been rated in years and my Grint GPS wouldn't work. We cancelled our second tee time.

Rooms - RV spots! Nice size, majority are large back in sites. We went with a group for a week and had a great time. Used some of the facilities as our own group (rally), some we enjoyed the park wide events. Amazing stay and we will be back. We did pickleball, lawn bowling and trivia with the park residents. They were so nice and accommodating. Banquet room is huge, many large group options. Rec room is more setuo for a hundred guests.

This is our 4th year staying at El Mirage RV resort and we have a reservation already for next year. Everyone is friendly and helpful from the gentlemen at the gate to the ladies in the office. The ground crew does an amazing job manicuring the grounds. Updating the pool and exercise area this summer will be a great addition.

The Good: The people are wonderful. The variety and hours amenities are open is wonderful. Pickleball is amazing here...well organized play/training with wonderful courts (28 of them). Great location regarding access to restaurants, etc. (However, noise is a huge issue...see below). Not So Good: The park is old and has had band aide fixes to many of the issues over the years...showers that don't drain, urinals that over flow, handicapped facilities that are lacking, craft rooms with old or broken equipment, constant water line breaks, and a pool that turns murky when it gets hot or crowded. Two weeks was not enough! Next year we are staying a month... Golf was great, trivia was hilarious, and met some great people.

I will begin by sharing that we planned a week in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area as an exploratory week. We have wintered in our RV the last 5 years in Palm Desert at Emerald Desert RV Resort. But thought we needed to check other options and so many people head to AZ. Welp - AZ RV “resorts” are not our cup of tea. But we did drive through others and talked to locals to see if there were other options. All are attached to park model 55 and over communities.
