Quail Ridge Golf Club

First time here today and I had a blast. The course design was challenging and dynamic. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The scenery was stunning (plus it being the fall helps with the trees changing). The cart path would wind through the trees and it was beautiful and relaxing.

We were able to share in family friends daughters wedding tonight. Our first visit to Quail Ridge. Upon entering the grounds. It is very peaceful. Tucked away back down side roads. The entrance winds and turns and at the end a medium size parking lot. Two buildings and a tent attached to the one. The outside wedding was down by the putting green. Very quaint. Next to a pond. Nice decor and inviting for a summer / fall wedding. Cocktail hour was very nice. The bar staff were very kind. I enjoyed talking with them and coming up with drinks to enjoy throughout the evening. For the price, absolutely stunning course. The fairways, roughs, and traps were well kept, and landscape was beautiful. Some very unique and challenging holes, and the clubhouse was very welcoming. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was great and the views were amazing. I would ABSOLUTELY come back to this course, BUT unfortunately I most definitely will not until the greens are in better shape. If you hit the green you can see the sand bouncing like a bunker. The holes all over the greens from being aerated made it impossible to read. And the pace of the greens were very unpredictabl…

85 bucks. Too much for this course. Should top out at 65. Today May 16 the greens were covered with debris. They made no effort to blow them off and still charged 85 bucks. Unacceptable. Wont be going back anytime soon.

Had a great round at the end of October. The course was in great shape and although the greens had recently been punched, they rolled true and quick. This is a very playable course for all levels of golfer.

Loved my round at Quail Ridge. Absolutely beautiful Course that challenges you but doesn't overwhelm the average golfer. A little pricier for me but worth the extra bucks. At the eighteen tee with the sun fading a deer came right up to our tee box and chilled for a bit. A great way to spend a Friday evening

I play this course a few times a year, always great condition and very enjoyable to play. You can really take some nice smooth divots here if you have a decent iron game. No complaints, other than pace, but for a weekend it’s normal everywhere!!

A very well maintained track with a fair amount of difficulty. Always enjoy my rounds here. It does not cater to walking with the long snaking cart paths, but that's not a huge deal. If you go as a twosome during the summer you'll likely get paired with another group. High on my list of public course in Grand Rapids.

This is a fun fair and challenging course. You need a practice round to get a feel for this course and the layout if you want to score. Greens and fairways we're in immaculate shape and both holding the ball from a recent rain. Was surprised at the 11+ stimple.

We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s wedding at Quail Ridge. The venue was beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for such a special day. The staff was organized, kind, and made everything run smoothly from start to finish. One of the highlights was the food—delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all our guests! Amazingly challenging golf course if you're an average golfer like myself. The greens are very undulating. You better know where to hit it or you're going to be in trouble. Prices are high but that's what you get for a course. It takes care of itself. Do you want to play the best you usually have to pay a little bit more. Worth the drive and worth your time. Very nature out here you'll see deer and lots of bugs.

This is a fantastic spot. The conditions are superb! Hard to find any greens in the state as good as these! Friendly staff, great service a home run all around!
