In summary

Saskatoon Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained courses, diverse layout options, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for many golfers. However, some visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play, citing closely scheduled tee times and inadequate regulation by staff as contributing factors. Additionally, there are occasional concerns about extra fees for non-playing riders and issues with customer service.

Great courses, good conditions, awful pace of play. This has been an issues for years. Tee times 9 minutes apart and staff does a poor job regulating pace. Played the first 9 today in over 3 hours. At one point had 13 people waiting on one hole. There were two groups of 5-6 people playing together at one point. Called the clubhouse and they sent a ranger out but didn’t make a difference. Expect to play a 5-6 hour round here.

I’ve been coming here for years. It is a nice course if you want to get some swings in but they think they are a premium course in the Grand Rapids area. The staff don’t really care about the customer experience and more about the dollars coming in. If you want to get a good round in, go to Thornapple or Quail Ridge. Also never do a rain check here. Take a refund instead. You’re welcome.

Very good golf course. It was worth the 1h drive! I had the blue and white course and I liked it very much. I will return and play the gold and red one too.

I came to Grand Rapids on a golf trip with 12 people. Jeff set us up well in advance, and everything went smoothly at both sets of courses. The staff were all very friendly, prices were more than fair, all courses were beautiful. Would highly recommend to all.

Wowwwwweeee - might be my new favorite course! There are 5 different 9’s which gives you lots of options for your skill level. We played the Blue/White. The blue is their most challenging and they aren’t kidding lol. Very tight fairways with bunkers, trees, and water hazards… But it’s a beautiful course, fast greens, friendly staff, and great prices. We will be back to check out the Red/Gold!

Played this morning, we had a lawn mower guy sitting behind us on 13 of 19 holes and some holes also had another mower person cutting the green so we had to sit and wait for them to get off. It's pretty sad when you get to the 17th hole and it feels wierd because its finally quiet and you don't have a mower sound 50ft behind you. Almost felt like we're harassing us. I was waiting for someone to pop out and say you got punked. It was ridiculous. Ive never seen that before. Made it a very uncomfortable and unenjoyable round.

Great facility. Played the Gold/Silver course and loved them. Recently revamped and green were very slow because of it but great shape and very pretty. Clubhouse is good. Nice staff and good food.

Beautiful course. However I thought it was ridiculous that my mother in law and I had to pay an extra $11 each to just WATCH our husbands play. We each got our own golf carts as a pair so we didn’t really see the reason for an extra ‘rider’ fee.

The course was in beautiful shape - we played Gold/Silver on a perfect early autumn evening. As expected the course was busy on a Sat. afternoon. Greens on the Silver course were aerated but still rolled relatively well.

This was my first time here- I came as a ‘rider’ with my husband and his son and son’s wife (also a rider). The guys played 9 holes, and we rented 2 carts. First off, we waited. At. Each. Hole. At one point, there were 4 teams on one hole. Anyhow- on the 1st hole as we were approaching the green, the ranger came along and said we needed to pay for the riders- ummm… what? 2 golfers and 2 carts were already paid for- and had to pay $22 extra for 2 people to tag along? Just because? The gentleman made sure to find us following the 9 holes and ensured we stopped into the clubhouse on the way out t…

If you can manage to get tree time when it is dead then it is a good course, otherwise their tee times are too close together and it is always backed up. Several of the comments calling out rude employees is true, especially the older gentleman with a mustache and glasses working the booth to check people in. We pulled up to the first hole a couple minutes late (due to our first cart having issues) and he instantly started giving us a hard time for being late. We asked if we could tee off since no one was in sight behind us and he refused to let us play, so we just went to the second hole to s…
