In summary

Briarwood Golf Club is appreciated for its engaging course layout, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities such as a good selection of food and drinks. The East 9 is particularly favored by players for its unique challenges. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, including uneven tee boxes and poorly kept greens, as well as occasional issues with tee time management and slow pace of play.

I am waiting on the tee box as I write this review, behind 2 groups. this course's tee time management is terrible. we booked 18, they started us on the east 9 and our "back" 9 was into a completely booked front 9. sub 2 hour first 9 and 30 minutes for the first hole of the second 9. on top of being overbooked, the course is very poorly maintained. patchy and uneven tee boxes, rock hard dirt and gravel lining the fairway, just really unimpressive overall. hot dogs were good. save your cash and go somewhere else

First time on the East 9 what a blast. Had to do a double take when I saw par 6 on hole two. Great service friendly staff. My new favorite course.

No cart available for us at our tee time. Course was in terrible shape. Course design makes for a blind shot on every hole. When we referenced the scorecard for layout and distances it was almost always wrong. Distances on stone tee box markers were as far off as 30-40 yards. Tee boxes were uneven and full of divots with grass far too long. Don't worry about hitting the fairway because all the grass is the same length. Don't waste your time here.

I've played the east 9 a few times. This was the first time playing the front and back 9 and it was great! The front 9 fairways are much less forgiving than the back 9 but over all it was a blast to play. Not to expensive and great condition.

Played here for first time this evening for twilight golf and its a pretty decent course. Some of the fairways are pretty hard with patchy spots but they are fairly open and the greens are really nice like fresh carpet. Will definitely come back and play again soon.

Fun course! Not terribly long, yardage-wise, but a little tricky. Small but fast greens. Lots of trees. Friendly staff. Nice little deck outside to chill after your round.

The customer service here is an absolute joke. Rangers made me (a solo) pick up my ball while finishing the 18th hole because it was dark. It was a full 10 minutes before the 9:00 “carts must be back by” time. What a joke. If the ranger could read a clock I might have been able to finish what was a good round. Avoid this half dirt course at all costs

I really like the layout of this course. Some interesting dog legs and the creek flows through a few holes making you think about club selection. Unfortunately the course condition, outside of the greens, is not equal to the price you are paying. That is the main reason for my rating.

Course has amazing potential but for the price it’s not even remotely worth it. Terrible maintenance.

Best golf course around but price is crazy. Get a beer cart rolling around and plan for parties that are 2 or 4 ppl. We get stuck behind slow ppl all the time and its annoying. If you have 4 ppl just go out dont send 2 ppl right behind them please....

Played golf league here the past 5 years. There have been several improvements to the course in the 2025 season. Fun and challenging course with friendly staff at a reasonable price.

Nice older course with 27 holes and a clubhouse.
