Railside Golf Club

My daughter & new son got married here on May 24, 2026. It was a terrible, raining hard day. Everyone was ready for pics & by 4pm, it was dry and the wedding outside. This is a beautiful setting for a wedding. The reception hall, beautiful and the meals were phenomenal, vegetarian pasta, seasoned chicken or sea bass. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful! The wedding was just perfect! God blessed them with the outdoor wedding they had planned for.

This was our first time eating at Alder & Iron. Very pleased! Good wine and spirits selection. Food was tasty and warm. But the highlight of the visit was the service. Shelby went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided outstanding service. Watching the rest of the staff, her level of attention seemed to be their "standard of excellence". We will certainly return and bring friends.

1st off, service was great. But when it came to the French dip, avoid it at all cost. The meat is from the freezer and microwaved. Who the hell does that? It was dry and tasteless. Maybe the scraped it off another dinner plate and reheated it. The fish and chips were OK. Nothing to tell your friends about. Fries were all my wife filled up on. Those were good.

Great food and service. Ask for Nancy, she is very personable, friendly, and has a keen eye as it relates to plating and customer requests. The views are amazing and the dining area is well laid out and comfortable.

Professional burger. Great evening despite the mistakes. - Smashburger - $17: Not a true smashburger as it is too thick, but very good. High quality meat with the perfect amount of seasoning for a cheeseburger and cooked perfectly to medium specifications. I asked for an extra burger patty ($4 extra), but did not get it with the burger. There was a misunderstanding again and I received the extra burger patty by itself after I had finished the burger. Excellent Food and Service along with a Beautiful atmosphere. Will Definitely go back. The Perch Basket was Delicious as was the Pumpkin Spice Martini.

We played here as guests. The course is very nice! The greens are really fast. Nice challenging course. The clubhouse had a nice selection and the bar area was well stocked.

I was a vendor at this wedding space. The grounds are gorgeous and the interior was lovely. That's where the good ends. Staff gave numerous tours of the event space while we were setting up and the photographers were doing photos. When asked if they could maybe have their lengthy conversations outside of the space so the people WHO HAVE IT RENTED can do what they need to do, we were met with attitude and said theyd just be a few minutes. My daughters wedding day 5/31/25 .. Alyssa and the team did a wonderful job with everything! The venue is beautiful and we had the best time !! Food was delicious and drinks were plenty! Highly recommend..5 stars

Decor & ambience is 10/10. Smoked old fashioned is *chef’s kiss.* Staff is very pleasant! (: However, I ordered the wedge salad last night, and 1/4 of my lettuce leaves were orange/brown... I ate around the bad parts because didn’t have the heart to send it back. I guess we’re just going here for cocktails in the future… :/
