In summary

Indian Trails Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and excellent practice facilities, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned players. The course is conveniently located near downtown Grand Rapids and offers good value for its quality. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the cart GPS system, parking limitations, and the condition of certain tee boxes, as well as occasional issues with overbooking and pricing.

Course is decent. The cart situation is atrocious. The GPS on there needs to be adjusted. It will stop your cart and tell you you’re driving in a restricted area when some of the times you will literally be on the cart path. $12.50 is a lot for a cart fee when you can’t drive them anywhere without having to put it in reverse to get where you need to go.

A absolute hidden gem. It had a fantastic practice area. The practice greens match the course. It’s by far the best municipal course in Grand Rapids for many reasons beyond its condition. The staff make you feel welcome, it’s not stuffy and you feel wanted unlike other courses that you feel like a burden. Their rates are great, they keep a good pace of play. I’ve been to a ton of courses in my day and this one takes the cake! Oh and the wildlife- Albino Robin on hole 17, also foxes and deer there to cheer you on!

Had a wonderful experience snow showing across the golf course. The staff was helpful and friendly. Rental shoes available but we had our own. Clubhouse is warm and restrooms available. Great, and inexpensive family outing.

For the amount of play this course has had over many years, it is maintained very well. Nice upgrades they made to the facility, course, and clubhouse. Greens can be fast and challenging, holes are not too long. I learned to play golf here when I was just 12 years old and still enjoy it now in my 60’s, like this past weekend in a scramble.

The course is looking great. It wasn’t too busy and was happy to see they were expecting tee times so we didn’t have to wait. They also have brand new high tech carts with Bluetooth and course mapping available.

Course was new to me this season, I have been more and more impressed with each week of league play. Staff and crew are winning me over for future events and free play with friends

Course in great condition. Carts were comfortable. But this course is SUPER short. Great pace of play. 9 holes 1 hour 30 mins

The course is in good shape for early season. GPS on carts. Good value golf experience. Shorter course, some fun par 3, couple tougher Par 4. Friendly staff. Played again in September and course and probably shop looking good. Usual friendly starter staff.

Good coures if you're looking to get out for a quick round or just learning how to play. Short, rock hard greens/fast. They do a good job of maintianing the course. Doesnt hold water great. Negative is that they over book and pack people in ontop of eachother.

Played here for many years- always loved the course itself, length, layout, condition is great. However, the parking is awful. Lot isn’t anywhere near big enough for patrons. And people block others in as it happened to me twice. Also the artificial tees on the range are terrible & need to be replaced.

So lucky to have this course! A 10 minute drive from downtown and very good value for the course quality. One of my favorite affordable golf courses in the area!
