Watermark Country Club

We just held a large event at Watermark, and everything was just perfect. Sarah was so easy to work with, and everything was set up just how we wanted it to be when we arrived. Both the food and drink were excellent and the service was great! I can't think of a single complaint! Thank you to all for making our event a huge success!

I planned an event with Watermark and Sarah helped to make it happen. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable, and the entertainment spaces were beautiful. Our guests said they enjoyed the food. I would recommend the venue if you're looking to host an event in Grand Rapids

We had my Dad’s 90th birthday party in the North Room at Watermark recently. Sarah was excellent with the planning and details for the day and all of the staff that day were very professional and efficient! The room setup was as requested and looked very nice for the party. The appetizers were delicious also!

We booked the Shore room at Watermark for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful, and the staff very accommodating. Food was served hot and according to the schedule we requested. The AV worked as it should for background music and our slide show presentation. I would definitely book here again.

I worked with Sarah on an event for my client and she was amazing! Very quick to reply, very professional and knowledgeable. She got me answers same day so I never had to drag my feet on anything. The staff was very kind and professional the day of and even stepped in to help me set up!! The room was beautiful, food was delicious and I will definitely recommend this location and staff to other clients!!

We held an annual conference at Watermark, and couldn't be happier with the support and service from Sarah and the Watermark staff. Everything was presented as planned, right on schedule. They even came through with supplying a couple missing A/V needs while we were setting up, and easily handled a few small requests throughout the day. Food and drinks were great, and the setting is beautiful. We look forward to coming again next year!

We have had our American Legion Post 451 at Watermark CC for several years now and each and every year the service and layout of tables is perfect. The staff is excellent, from the bartender to the servers at the time when it came time to set our meals in place. They were prompt and efficient throughout the whole night.

Space is beautiful, we used it for our prom with 300 people. Some details were missed during the event. The ladies bathroom ran out of all paper products two times during the night and each time we had to hunt someone down to refill. We were also disappointed in the sound system there. We were promised it would be plenty loud. It was not, then after finding someone to ask for help, we were told it was on our end because we were using a Mac and Mac’s don’t work well with their system. Watermark hosted a family Christmas gathering for us. From preparations to the service the day of the event, it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this place for big and small events, alike!

Every event our organization has had at Watermark has been top notch! Whether it's been 25 guests or over 70, the service and staff was great. Sarah Shaeffer made the planning and addition of late RSVPs very easy. Thank you!

Update 1 year and 3rd Christmas party later - still a great venue! We had more staff this time so I felt everything was handled well. We had a Business Christmas Dinner here. Food was phenomenal and done well. AV/Music setup was good. Staff was good, could have used another person or two. Very well planned on the front end by Vanessa.

We booked the Grand River Room for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 26 guests. It was the perfect size and a beautiful room. The event manager, Sarah, was responsive during the planning process and the staff on the day of the event were attentive. Sarah worked with the chef to accommodate the food allergy needs of our guests. The attendees were very complimentary of the high quality of the appetizers (2), dinner (Salmon & Chicken), and dessert(2). We had a hosted consumption bar service which worked perfectly for our group. Our bar tender was great
