Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course is a great par 3 course—perfect for beginners but fun for all skill levels. I was greeted like I was a regular even without a tee time. Berry in the pro shop was super friendly and got us set up with clubs, balls, tees, and drinks. The greens were well maintained, the pace of play was great, and even with some light maintenance on the back nine, it didn’t affect the round. Mimi at checkout was cheerful, friendly and even wished us a great day ahead. I’ll definitely be back to improve on those two 3-putts!

Too slow too short. The people who Work there are really nice. Great place to teach your kid to play or go With your great grandfather. Great if you want to tactics your PW. The greens are all mounded need to flatten more.

This facility is great for the family and all skill levels (large driving range, putting/chipping green and fun 18 hole layout). Awesome staff, grill, and drink selections. My boys enjoy going to Coach Travis’s mini golfers class. He brings a variety of games, drills and stories to each class. Check out his classes and free assessment!

We just used the driving range but we had fun. For $13 we got an extra large bucket of balls. This took my son and I 60 to 90 minutes to hit. Staff was friendly. Now if only we were better golfers. Inexpensive fun.

Nice little course. Perfect for working on short irons. $12 Senior rate works for me. Staff is very friendly. Lots of youth players and kick golf, so extra diligence is required. It's not as good for working on chipping though, because the greens are just too small, and don't replicate the typical shots you'll have on a big boy course.

Been years since I played Rancho but my son is just starting into golf so made a great father son day.

Came here to hit balls. $13 for a medium bucket to hit off “grass”. Mostly dirt with patchy grass like second cut rough. Balls were a mishmash of decent to junk. Doubt I’ll come back.

Fun little inexpensive course. Greens are whack. Some fast some slow. Got a chicken sandwich afterwards and it was delicious! 😋

This is a great course to learn to golf, take kids or friends who are new to the activity. It’s low cost, not too challenging, and the people are friendly. It’s very walkable. No dress code, casual culture. It’s a community course, not fancy but an enjoyable round of golf.

2 prices on the automated machine for large. $14.75 but it doesn't accept card. $17 for large it does. Then I get to Mats and 5 of 12 mats have tees.
