In summary

Emerald Isle Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and affordability, offering an enjoyable experience for golfers focusing on their short game. The course's layout includes several water hazards and is considered ideal for walking, with convenient amenities such as a pro-shop, restaurant, and social events. However, some visitors have noted issues with the booking and refund policy, as well as occasional slow pace of play due to mixed groups of walkers and cart riders.

There is nothing not to like about this friendly 18 hole mostly par 3 course. It's the ideal practice course for everything but the driver. The variety makes it interesting with several over the water holes to make it seem longer. This is also the ideal walking course with most hole to next tee-box distances being very short. One standout is the pro-shop and kitchen. While many courses seem to have a 19th hole that is always closed early these guys seem to take pride in their offering: plenty of nice benches and chairs to hang out before and after the game. I watched the lady in front of me…

Course is fun but beware you must pay when you make a reservation, and even cancelling 3 days in advance there are no refunds. You are allowed to change the date however. Never had this problem at any other course.

First time here. It’s like a hidden Gem. A good place to work on your short game & a place to bring the kids who’s getting into the golfing world. I haven’t played a round yet, but I went there to get a feel of my new irons & figure out how far my ball goes. I haven’t been on a golf course since 2006. I sort of still have it! Definitely bringing my kids next time.

You can't beat the reasonable price at this very nice executive golf course in Oceanside. Friendly staff. I reserved a tee time online. ⛳🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ See the turtles🐢 in the pond at #16, about 10 of them getting sun 🌞on a log🌴. 6/6/25 Friday night Fun, "The Bell Pepperz"band, 🎸🎶Gabys Tacos Food Truck,🌮🌮 Holy moly the Gobernador Shrimp Taco!!! Sooo good, tons of shrimp and 🥑 and 🧀.I'm going to visit them on their Oceanside Blvd. usual location. Played table top shuffle board. Fun times. Thanks guys!!

Love this place for a quick round. Make sure you keep the ball going straight cause there’s houses on both sides and sometimes holes shoot towards each other but it makes you be a better golfer and it’s always in great shape. I even played while they were doing green maintenance and it was a discounted price and I still had a good time. Easy to get to good drinks at the bar and pretty damn good food.

I enjoy golfing here a lot. There's water traps everywhere but it's almost all par 3s making it fun and tough. It's all about accuracy and short game. The scenery is nice and everything is tucked in a community. It's short enough to walk comfortably and they have great cart service for food and drink.

A great place to golf and socialize. There’s a small clubhouse with in and outdoor seating, great golf apparel, food and beverage service, and Friday night social gatherings. A snow slide was available during the cold weather as well. Parking is decent, abundant golf carts, nice enough driving range and great putting green.

I didn’t play the course, but I hit some balls at the driving range. Not super busy, easy process to get the balls, and driving range was in good condition. The restaurant was very good. The sandwich was tasty and filling. The beers were a little pricy, but it’s Oceanside and a golf course, beers are always a little pricy I would definitely suggest Emerald Isle Golf Course
