In summary

El Camino Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained golf course, friendly and attentive staff, and versatile event hosting capabilities, particularly under the guidance of Event Director Elizabeth Sherman. The venue is noted for its beautiful setting, making it a popular choice for weddings and other celebrations. While the food generally receives positive feedback, some mention that certain dishes or side items can be bland, and there are occasional concerns about kitchen leadership and training.

I recently hosted my baby shower at El Camino and it was everything I wanted and more! Elizabeth Sherman (Event Director) and the team were a dream to work with. Elizabeth is so professional, kind, detailed, and responsive. The banquet captain, Sarah, was super helpful on the day of and made sure everything went according to plan. The food was wonderful as well, guests raved about it! Highly recommend!

Elizabeth Sherman and the rest of the team at El Camino CC were extremely helpful and willing to make our wedding reception wonderful for us and our guests. The whole experience from initial contact to day-of was seamless and we were always in constant communication. We couldn’t have been happier with our venue choice! Thank you so much, Elizabeth and El Camino, for the hospitality that you’ve shown to us.

El Camino CC is an amazing place and a gem of a golf course. Not too long, but tight with OB to penalize you for errant tee shots. Great tennis and pickleball courts, a nice restaurant/bar. If it weren't for me living in LA, I'd definitely become a member here.

Played here on a member for a day outing with my buddies. We had a great time. We got the invite from America Golf Corporation for $39. Not bad of a deal. The course is in a good playing condition. Greens were fairly slow. The reason this course is not getting higher rating is mainly because of average layout and not as challenge as other private courses.

We recently held a family member’s celebration of life after their funeral in the main ballroom. We were former members so immediately thought of El Camino when looking for a venue. We were pleasantly surprised to see updated carpet and windows/doors. Food was delicious, the bartender was accommodating and quick, and the servers were friendly and circled often to remove dishes. We were able to come the morning of our event to bring decorations, signage, etc and the room was almost 100% set up already. Plenty of parking for our guests. The entire process from reserving the room, choosing foods…

We recently held our wedding rehearsal lunch here for 21 people. Elizabeth communicated with me to set the event up. I sent requests to many restaurants in the area to set up an event months before. Elizabeth was the first person to respond to me, had great customer service and was incredibly professional. We had a private room to ourselves with a little side room that held a buffet. We chose the Mexican buffet and it did not disapoint. Everyone regretted getting too full to eat anymore. We got the chicken and carnitas. The marinade on the chicken was so tasty. Seriously, everything was delici…

Kitchen lacks leadership. Good luck to anyone joining their team. Chef never once trained staff 1 time in 3 months I was there. Imo if chef isn't there kitchen will fail
