We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Ravisloe Country Club, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This is a fantastic golf course. It has a vintage feel to it and well-kept greens and fairways. The rough is...well, just that, rough. Trees come into play if you are not in the fairway. It can be challenging but the holes are not very long. The bunkers are well-maintained but stay out of there. The bunkers have high walls. The greens play faster than normal, which is my favorite. Afterwards, enjoy their delicious food and a cold beverage and enjoy the view on their beautiful patio. It is slightly pricey, and I wished they had veterans and first-responder rates, but it is a great golf course.…

Loved this course. Super cool layout and it’s in green shape. The range and practice area is actually way better than I was expecting as well. Course was in great shape, with only the normal scars of a public course (divots, etc). The carts were also a nice touch with bluetooth speakers and a good GPS map. It ended up being super fun getting paired up with a twosome, but despite me booking as a single, they wouldn’t let me out there by myself. Fairytale wedding spot with wonderful staff, food, and accommodations. Carmen and Johanna were incredible to work with and the venue was breathtakingly beautiful. Food was delicious and service was A1.

I photographed a wedding here recently and I absolutely loved working this venue! Not only is the architecture & Ivy STUNNING but the staff were really helpful and friendly. All around beautiful day and experience. Would love to work here again!

Absolutely my favorite course in the Chicagoland area. The layout, fairways, traps and greens are awesome. Kudos to the maintenance crew. The price is right for this level of conditions. The front desk and restaurant are excellent. No pace of play issues. It's all good, folks!

Last minute decision late Saturday night to play golf with my son-in-law early Sunday morning led us to Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, IL (now a public course). We had to pre-pay $85 each to walk, which is more than I like to pay ever, but a quick review of the history and course design convinced us to pull the trigger. Opened in 1901 as a 9-hole course adjacent to land owned by a Dutchman named Ravisloot. RAVISLOE Country Club located in Homewood,IL is a beautiful special occasion venue. My first visit was very impressive with a medium sized courtyard & balconette for weddings & other photo ops. (Think Romeo & Juliet). I found the indoor dining accommodations size-able for approximately 200 guests with enough room to feel comfortably spaced out. The room was generous in size & Tuscan inspired with wooden beams throughout which was romantic & beautiful. Absolutely stunning! The grounds are well maintained and the event center is grand. Great for weddings, teas, and other social events!

Fantastic spot. The course is a nice mature traditional layout with loads of sand. If you're hitting it well you'll be rewarded, if you're off you'll be challenged. It's a fun course. More importantly, the staff is great. There's a real, friendly, helpful vibe here. It's refreshing playing at a course that actually values golf. Had a great time, would highly recommend adding the course to your rotation.
