River Oaks Golf Club

Not a bad course at all.Challenging enough or a beginning golfer as myself. Lots of long drives which I can appreciate and some good part 3's. Decent price for 18 holes coming in at under $25 with a cart. Really my only complaint was the tee boxes were in terrible shape. The grass in the boxes was all dead and the ground was almost to hard to get a tee in the ground and none of them were level what so ever to get a good stance on.

The gym equipment was dated and the space was not huge but still was able to get in s few good workouts. The membership fees seemed high to me for what they are offering. Also everyone seems to enjoy the golf course.

Review (Fitness Center) Decent equipment to accomplish your goals. Nothing fancy.

I had so much fun playing this course I signed up for a membership. The people at the club house were very nice and found the Marshall’s to be helpful with the outline of the course. No it’s not a country club like Blue hills the course needs work, but at $29 a month and all the free golf if you walk, com’on, it’s a no brainer. I was really impressed with the greens, and most of the fairways. My insurance company is giving me a credit after I’ve been a member for 6 months since it’s a fitness center also.

Easily the worst maintained golf course I've ever been to. Multiple "fairways" and tee boxes were literally just dirt. I'd pay $10 to play 18 with a cart there but they charge you $30+.

Let me first start out by saying I have been apart of this golf course since I was a boy when my grandfather introduced the game of golf to me and my siblings. Over the last several years once Great Life took over the course I have experienced the worst golf course experiences of my life at this course, from being rudely assisted by the so called General Manager, who doesn't even know a thing about golf, to being rushed in game play because they wanted to go home early. River Oaks is an affordable golf course for seniors unlimited funds. This is not a four star golf course as you would rate of four star golf course. The areaand housing around it it's pretty dangerous with high crime rate. If you're playing it for under 25 bucks in River Oaks is worth it.

It's Ok..for $20.00 with cart..that's fine..but no more than that..bermuda fairways.not my favorite but that is my preference..greens are slower than avg..Good for seniors from the white tees..

Clean, nice. Beautiful course, through little valleys and hills, lined with woods, running along nice neighborhoods. Small, sufficient gym with optional membership at clubhouse. Clean shower area.

Certainly not the nicest or best kept course in the metro but I liked the lay out and played at our own pace the whole time.

Been a member for 4 years now. great location. awesome staff. Love the gym, the course, the showers, and of course the great staff !

The service there was horrible. I asked for coffee and the gentleman at the fro t seat said he wasn't making any more because he pays for the coffee out of his pocket. WTH!!!! Won't be coming back here.
