Absolutely atrocious. The new greenskeeper or course lost the greens six weeks ago. The only thing missing from the greens now is the rope from the hole to smooth out the sand for your putt. Absolutely terrible to charge full price when they know they should shut it down. You guys should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves!! Negative stars would be given if that was an option.

From the moment I set foot on the grounds of the Fred Arbanas Golf Course, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and beauty that I hadn't expected. The course itself is an oasis of calm, a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Every step I took along the well-maintained fairways felt like a step closer to serenity. What struck me the most was the sheer loveliness of the course. Lush green fairways seemed to stretch on forever, inviting me to immerse myself in the game and the natural surroundings. The meticulous care taken to maintain the course was evident in every bl…

I was thoroughly impressed with my first round at this course. I played on Sunday March 31st. Despite coming out of winter, the course was in fantastic shape. Lush, firm fairways and challenging and well maintained green complexes. I have been raving about the conditions to anyone who will listen and hope to return soon. The staff was also very friendly. Kudos to all involved in maintaining and running this golf course.

Having been a former member and Player Assistant for a number of years I took for granted the overall quality of this facility. I was proud to bring guests. I just finished playing twice and am frankly shocked by the course condition and clear lack of maintenance. I question the competency of their supervision. This course has been one of the top courses in the area for a long time, no longer. Shameful.

Played there yesterday, 9/14/25 and honestly, fees shouldn’t be more than $30 at most with the cart. Greens were horrible and overall course maintenance was very poor. It is a shame because it has all the bones of a fantastic golf course if the proper maintenance was put forth. In NC, we would call this course a cow pasture. My 2 stars is being generous to be honest, this place is NOT GOOD.

We really like playing here. It is well kept in the fairways and the greens. It is challenging for the novice golfer but not overwhelming. It has nice par 3 holes and some par 5 holes that really let you grip and rip. Some of the holes are narrow and some are pretty wide. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. We have played here many times and never been rushed.

Played the Par 3 course. All staff, Pro Shop and Grounds crew, are extremely friendly. Par 3 course was well maintained and fun to play. Would recommend to anyone, both beginner and experienced.

Great staff. Play moved along at a good pace. Grounds were a little worn in September but still in decent shape.

$50 to Walk on a Monday. At this price in KC Metro I was expecting superior conditions. This course has gone down hill. Lush zoyza fairways are no more. Traps look like they haven't ever been raked. T BOXES were uneven. Greens were decent but slow. Used to be a wonderful course. What happened?

One of the better public courses in the city. Lake views are always nice when golfing. The rough is not tall but it sure does eat balls. Greens in pretty fair shape.

Overall the fairways, greens and tee boxes were in good shape. The rough (grass immediately outside fairways) was long. ~3 inch? with it being fairly thick and long, it made for a tough time to find balls that bounced in the fairway, but rolled off into the rough. the grass outside the rough was really long, NO chance finding a ball in those areas. The greens were fast and hard. landing a ball on the green resulted in rolling off the backside. I was able to chip and stay on about 25% of the time with a 52 degree wedge. Otherwise, putt / chip to get back on. Front edge of the greens were watere…
