Oakwood Country Club

A gem in the Kansas City golf scene, the course has gone through some big upgrades under new ownership and is in terrific condition. Great amenities and staff. There are different lounges for drinks and food, which are all great. If you’re able to play with a member, you won’t regret the experience.

I can't say enough good things about Oakwood Country Club, and especially about Katelyn as the event coordinator! From the beginning, she helped us by answering all our questions about the big day, keeping us informed of changes, being absolutely wonderful and flexible with our date change due to COVID, and going above and beyond to ensure that all our many requests and needs were met. I became a National member as my children live in the Kansas City area, and I reside in St. Louis. From the time I stepped into the club it has been nothing but great. The staff, the facilities, the course, the amenities, all our outstanding. Little did I realize that when I joined to be able to play golf when away from my home did I find a gem of a club. Thanks

This is a truly beautiful place. The club house is classic and elegant, especially the dining hall. The course itself is challenging and picturesque. Once an exclusively Jewish country club, it was purchased by a local real estate company. They have opened up the membership and invested a lot of money to restore the place to its former grandeur.

Katelyn and her entire event staff were stellar. As an event planner, I can't tell you how wonderful it is to walk into a venue and have everything taken care of without having to give any direction at all.

What a beautiful course! I wish I had taken more pictures of the whole course. Hope to go back and play it again with all the new improvements they are making. I know the membership is going to be happy to be part of a great course. Keep it up

Amazing transformation. Recently played in a tournament here and compared to a couple of years ago the place is barely recognizable-in a great way! Beautiful updates to the buildings. The driving range is fantastic. Recently redesigned several holes which greatly enhances the experience. One of the best places to belong for people who want to play golf on a challenging course without having to fight the crowds or break the bank.

Get ready for great golfing challenges combined with exercise.

Oakwood is an absolutely beautiful venue. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to get married and celebrate our day. Heather was great to work with, patient, helpful, and most importantly on the big day she was calm and attentive. She made sure everything went smoothly and I could not be more grateful.
