Vacationing in KC from the Chicagoland area and wanted to play a local course. Quality golf course! Short, tight and challenging. The staff is amazing! Everyone from the club house attendant, to the starter and ranger made sure my wife and I were having a great time. It was cart path only but unless you landed in a bunker, you couldn’t tell they had 4 inches of rain yesterday morning. Bravo to the groundskeepers! I will recommend to others and plan to be back.

Swope Memorial is a cool golf course with a great staff! We had a 144 player tournament, and it was smooth sailing the entire day! Golf carts are equipped with USB ports as well. Give this course a try!

An awesome Tillinghast course right in the city. It’s a smaller course because of it’s age and design, but it’s a really cool layout. Very good, and memorable, holes that will make you want to play it again and again. Greens were great. No houses on the course. The ONLY negative is that it is a hilly course. If you’re going to take a cart, no problem. If you walk it, you’ve been warned. All the holes are named. I think Tillinghast does this for all his designs. We played 7 rounds in KC, and this was the only course we played twice. It’s so original, and fun, I could play it again and again a…

Narrow greens on the first 9. Lots of bunkers also. Back nine is more open & few bunkers. Not a beginner's course which we mostly are. Employees were nice.

I made multiple birdies, ate chili, played through rain and wind for 15 holes and noticed the ONLY picture that didn’t have a captions in the “historic” section of the hallway was the black men canvas transfer photo. Amazing golf on a historic course. Let’s do some research though boys. Bing Crosby ain’t that cool.

Beautiful course, it has so many terrian features and gorgeous trees. If you can play there towards the evening in the fall you can also see awesome sunsets.

Came in fro ohio to see my sond had some free time. 3 or 4 sketchy tee boxes but, other that a very nice challenging course. Not very long but lots os elevation and friendly staff. Even found a buckeye fan at the course. Lol

Very challenging from the blue tees. Get ready for some elevation changes and mature trees. Shot shaping is crucial here. Also, be a very good putter. But it’s a very cool place with a very nostalgic feel.

Tough little course! Been around for ages, but is well maintained. Enjoyed the round.

Dont get me wrong this is a beautiful course and well maintained for $50 but the pace of play was a travesty. It was not an enjoyable experience. 2 hours of golfing and 3 1/2 hours of standing around waiting. Management prioritized profit over giving their customers an enjoyable experience. Course staff was very professional.

The golf course layout is immaculate and beautifully maintained, beautiful fairways and rolling greens. Had such a good experience with my dad out here today. Challenging but so enjoyable. The back nine has a great view of the city towards the end. Rolling hills, beautiful scenery. The clubhouse has good food to offer as other courses fall short. Favorite course in the KC area of all time.

Very fun but challenging course. All the holes play side by side and the elevation changes are very dramatic. Not the longest course but the hills and tight trees may effect your score. Very cool driveway up to the clubhouse and a nice view of KC skyline from the 3rd tee box. Had an all in all good day here.
