In summary

Riverbend Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and overall natural beauty, offering a decent challenge for golfers of various skill levels. The course layout, however, is often criticized for being confusing, with inadequate signage and some maintenance issues, particularly with bridges and cart paths. While the greens are generally in good condition, some visitors have noted inconsistencies in course maintenance and customer service, particularly during inclement weather.

5-stars for a country course, for overall natural beauty, pricing and staff service (including restaurant). Maybe 3-4 if you are comparing it to courses that are 2-3x the price. Beautiful drive to get there and decent challenge of play for any golfer. Delicious and well-priced BBQ style food when done. Super-friendly service from the pro-shop to course, to dining room. Best of all, kids under 14 play free ANYTIME when playing with paying adults. Will definitely return!

The weather was perfect on the last day of the 2020 season. The marshal was super helpful in detailing some of the hole directional issues and that made our round very easy to navigate. The course was in good shape for November except for the bridges over water, which need replacing. The price was very reasonable. We had a great round!

Fairly forgiving 18 holes, however the course layout was a little confusing. Greens we're in good shape however fairways were a little rough in spots but hard to complain about the grass in early November. Cart paths and bridges could be a bit better. Friendly staff and very affordable!

Poor conditions, many greens with large pick marks. Poor drainage throughout fairways and muddy tire tracks. Signage is confusing or non existent.

Not a very pleasant game. No signage to tell you where the next hole is. Cart path disappears so you have no idea where to go. After 15 holes, we were so frustrated because of this that we stopped playing. No carts coming around to offer drinks. No ball washers at any of the holes, though there are quite a few water hazards with mucky areas so this would be a nice feature to have - even just once in a while. These are not expensive things to provide. Greens were not very green and very fast with lots of slope so putting was not an enjoyable experience.

Absolutely brutal and not worth the money, they don’t accept cash which is absolutely insane(refuse to support any business who does this) the carts were very dirty/slow/broken and they stunk like they were about to blow up. The rough was so long it was hard to find a ball(one spot measured 10”) way too much “ground under repair”, the greens were inconsistent as they had sections that were painted and those sections react like concrete. All teeboxs are turtle back so there’s nowhere flat to start any hole. They don’t have a “cart girl”……..and on top of all that they tend to leave the phone on…

This course has been one of my favorites for many years. Reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and it is challenging enough for an infrequent for like myself. Unfortunately, the lack of rain in recent weeks resulted in very dry fairways and rough greens. I don't recall seeing any irrigation but if there is any it is insufficient to keep things in good shape.

This course is great Fun challenging holes Great par 5’s to grip and rip Under valued even w a cart New Management Ultra green Can see the improvements over the last couple years I hope they never change the bridges If anything to complain about..we did get turned around heading to the wrong tees a couple times….I know the signage is there but it could be more “can’t miss” signage I know a guy that could work on those bridges cause they are great for the character of the course

This course would be alright if it were $30-$40/round, not $60 (plus cart). It’s not very challenging, not very scenic, and needs to be better maintained. It’s very poorly laid out as well.

Really happy with my experience with this course. My first year playing men's league and we really enjoyed the season. The addition of a beer cart this year was very welcomed. By far the best deal around. Adam did a great job organizing. The course was in great shape all year so kudos to the maintenance crew. Staff is always great and Rob's food is a hidden secret that you should discover. The greens are small and fast, so bring your accuracy. The course can be a little intertwined, but easily walkable. I will continue to enjoy this course and it's proximity to my place and I'm already looking…

My husband and friend booked a tee time for today at 11:00. Because last time the course was closed for a couple of days due to heavy rain, my husband asked about it given heavy rain was expected again this weekend. He was told their drainage is good, no worries and he will be contacted if they have to close due to flooding. So they heard nothing, drove to the golf course and there wasn't a car in sight. Just a sign saying "closed due to flooding". Called the golf course and there isn't a message telling people this, no one answering the phones and you can't leave a message. The phone just rin…
