The meramec needs to flood this course. Complete joke of a club in every way. Not USGA certified, fairways are longer than the rough at many local courses. Clubhouse couldn’t care less about tee times causing log jams constantly. They don’t have blue tees anymore, longest yardage is barely 5000. Pay the extra 20 bucks and go somewhere else.

Used to be great for the value but the terribly spaced tee times have you waiting on each tee box and the fairways feel like hitting off the parking lot. The “Marshall” also thinks he’s running Augusta. With what they’re charging now you’re better off literally anywhere else.

Pro shop attendant is a geriatric with not an ounce of hospitality. I’ve been 3 times and each time he has been insufferable. Course is okay though.

Price was not bad if you were playing on a maintained course. However, you are not. Greens are chewed up with ball marks and people dragging their feet leaving scuff marks from the spikes. Tee boxes are not grass. They are weeds. Grass in the fairways is sporadic at best. This was a pasture with some holes cut in it. Pin placement hasn't been moved in a week at best. Overall was a bad place to play. I haven't been there in the past 20years and I remember why.

Completely incompetent employees. It took almost 45 minutes after my tee time to actually tee off, followed by a 30 minute per hole pace of play, with at least 3 groups waiting at each tee box. Course was in horrible condition, and it didn’t look like a single ball mark had been repaired this year. I’ve seen better greens at abandoned mini golf courses. By far the worst course I have played in the St. Louis area. The hotdog was decent though.

The woman working the desk has abysmal customer service. We were told over the phone the price of a rider would be $5. She charged us $20, when we inquired she only had attitude, blamed it on a new employee, & gave nothing in the way of anything kind to address the issue. We would not have golfed here had we known the actual price. I’m appalled at the lack of kindness from this woman.

It had been five years since last playing here due to bad experience after bad experience. My boy wanted to play so decided to try again. Made our tee time for 6:00 am. First out. Received a call saying we were getting paired up. Asked if we could not be because wanted just father son time. Was told could go off back and all was good. Until the morning. They old lady in clubhouse was as rude as could be. Was told we could not do what was told and if not happy go somewhere else. We skipped hole one so we could play alone. And at turn waited for 2 groups in front of us on the entire back 9. Tell…

Horrible experience, they overbook every time, it took 30 minutes a hole until we decided to leave after 3 holes. No field Marshall guiding pace of play. Staff is rude and watered the greens while we were actively putting. Will never come back.

Would give a 0 if I could. Always overbooked sending people out too soon. Today was the worst however. We were backed up 2-3 deep at times on tee boxes through the round. No marshall to keep pace of play in play. Absolutely not worth spending money here. I’ll be done after 6 years of golf here.

Owner was extremely rude to multiple people in our party even after not accommodating the reservation we made for our group. Will never give this place another dime

It was my first time playing golf and when my team and I misunderstood how many holes we paid for, management was unkind and rude when informing us. After apologizing and insisting we’d pay for 9 more holes, the employee said he was closing down the course at 5pm when they didn’t close until 630pm. I did not feel welcome as new player and will happily never step back on this course. Call it an unpopular opinion but sports of any kind should be welcoming to newer players and employees/players should explain the rules and etiquette rather than assuming foul play.

If you're looking for good a good golf course, this is not it. If you're looking for a place to play last minute for cheap ($34) with shaggy greens, rough as a fairway, and dirt for a tee box this is the place for you.
