In summary

RiverWinds Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers. The scenic environment, including picturesque views and wildlife, adds to the appeal. However, some visitors feel the pricing is steep, especially when course conditions like aerated greens are present, and there are occasional concerns about the pace of play and amenities such as the food truck and cart paths.

First time playing here and it did not disappoint. Well maintained and just an overall beautiful course. This course is also perfect for the average player to seasoned player. If your a beginner, I would advise to go elsewhere. The fee was $112 for a round in May which I would say is a good price. But you get what you pay for. If you want a course thats 60$ on a Sunday than your just not gonna like what your playing on. The fairways, the bunkers were all clear of debris. Their is hardly any tree cover so you will not get lost in the woods. The only chance you have of losing your balls is on so…

What a great spot!!! A must play! First time here. I’ve been meaning to check it out for a while and so glad I finally did. Wonderful layout, lush fairways, the nicest bunkers I have played in years!! From a former turf grass employee with over 10 years experience at a half dozen courses in three states….Kudos to the Superintendent and his team! Wonderful views as well!!! With all of that being said it’s too pricey. I got a GolfNow Hot Deal for $70 at around noon on a weekday. I will definitely be back but not for more than $80.

First impressions: - Fun course layout. Good mix of very scoreable holes and strategic & punishing bunker placement. - Greens recently aerated— give them 1-2 months - Fairways, bunkers, and rough all very well maintained. - Par 3 tee boxes need some rest— all others are 8.5/10 condition. - Staff was a 10/10! Very nice, friendly, and accommodating. - Only gripe: food truck closed before we made the turn (4:50ish) and we didn’t see a cart girl after the 6th hole. Wouldn’t be worth a mention had we gotten drinks and snacks from either one of them before the back nine. Overall, the views and cour…

Course is in fantastic condition and is a really great layout with beautiful scenery. We booked last minute while in town and went out at 6:30 and played in under 4 hrs. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Saw comments about the tee box condition and that could be improved but nothing that impacts play. Highly recommend!

A very well maintained and challenging course with friendly staff. Pace of play was good and through 18 we were only held up for a short while on 3 holes waiting to tee off before the group ahead of us cleared the green. You do have a short 3-4 minute ride from where you pay and pick up your carts to the first hole so just take that into account when trying to be on time for your tee time. Once on the course there is no clubhouse/restaurant, but portable toilets and a solid food truck on the 10th hole and a well stocked drink cart that we saw drive by us 3 times during the full 18.

UPDATE: I heard from Vince, Director of Golf at the course, and he was awesome. He listened to our experience, and validated the frustration, and cared about it, and said he would work to adjust the approach of his rangers that led to this experience. We'll be back! Chalk it up to an overzealous ranger that did his math wrong, and was pretty relentless in pace of play, albeit somewhat misguidedly. Everyone has bad days, and I hope those guys have better ones! And it sounds like the tactics will change there moving forward. This to me is almost better than not having a problem to begin with...…

Challenging holes with city view. Always enjoy playing this course even in 20+ mph wind. We had sun, rain, hail, and gusts up to 50 mph at times. Really crazy day! The 17th island green was really fun in the wind. Almost had to aim towards the river for the wind to carry it back to the green. The fairways were nice bit wet from previous nights rain, but the greens rolled really nice.

The course is a good challenge. The greens and courses are well kept. Watching the planes and boats go by is nice. We even saw some deer, a crane, and a red tailed hawk flying around. The $80 price tag is steep, but I'd rather play here once then another local course for only a few $ less.

Atmosphere is always beautiful. Drinks were very good. Our waitress was SUPER slow. People after us got their food before us. It was only 2 of us and a party of 6 that came in after us, they put 2 tables together for them and they ALL were served food (appetizers and entree) before our food came out. And once our food finally arrived, it was cold. The food looked good but it was cold.

Had a 630am time 8/24/25. Played in under 4 hours as it should be. A bit pricy at $125 but it was a good course to play. Lots of driver holes fit a sub 10 hdcp from the back tees. Fun to play. I’ll do it again at off prime time rates.
