In summary

Rolling Meadows Golf Club is often praised for its well-maintained grounds, beautiful scenery, and a mix of challenging holes that appeal to both seasoned and newer players. However, many visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play and overbooking of tee times, which leads to long waits on the course. Additionally, some guests have encountered issues with customer service and pricing discrepancies, impacting their overall experience.

It was our first time playing this golf course and we were very delighted. It was built in 1972. The grounds are very well kept. Some of the cart paths were bumpy, but the course was challenging and beautiful. The carts were great as well as the staff. Their dining area holds up to 200 people. Good value

Absolutely Brutal Experience — Save Your Money Where do I even start? This course has clearly decided to prioritize packing in as many tee times as humanly possible over providing even a remotely enjoyable round of golf. We waited 10–15 minutes at every hole and that’s not an exaggeration. After over 3 hours we had only made it through 9 holes and finally threw in the towel. You’d think with that kind of traffic they’d at least have a beverage cart making the rounds, but not a single one in sight the entire time. After the 3-hour circus, we figured we’d grab a drink at the clubhouse, only to…

What used to be one of my favorite courses has become a total waste of time and money. The course is well kept, I'll give them that. But for a course that's heavily reliant on non members playing there, they do nothing to make you feel that way. Last year I played Rolling meadows for the first time since covid. I had to walk off after 10 because the round was already 3 hours in and I wouldn't make my appointments if I finished 18. But no harm no foul, perhaps just a slow day. Went back a week or two later with an earlier tee time. Same disaster. Members won't even let you play through. When I…

We played Rolling Meadows yesterday, ( August 26th 2024 ) and loved it. Beautiful course, really well maintained. A great mix of challenging holes , long and short. The staff were really nice and very helpful. We'll 1000% be back again in the future. Thank you Rolling Meadows!

Very well maintained and beautiful scenery on all 18 holes. The only complaints are the long rounds due to cramming tee times and lack of presence of a beverage cart most of the round

I literally just left the course ,, I stopped at the 5th hole,, I paid to play, party of 4 and because of scheduling... we were forced by the grounds martial to speed up our game and move faster.... we were only on the 5th no alcohol, we were just playing our game... i paid to play and couldn't because the guys behind us were getting drunk and wanted to play... Truthfully I dont know if I will play here again, first 3 times weren't like this...really sad because it's a beautiful course...

Usually a good experience here, but today was the exception. We had a 12:15 tee time but they had booked a tournament and they were running close to an hour behind. This wasn't a problem as no one in our group had anywhere to be. We waited at each of the first 9 holes for the group in front of us to get out of range, which was fine. Guessing that with booking the tourney, and the fact that the parking lot was full that the course was slightly overbooked and moving slow. When we finished hole 9, we stopped to grab some hot dogs at the turn and then proceeded to the tenth hole. The group in fron…

Good course, but horrible piece of play all the people that play there are above the age of 80 and it took me three hours to play nine holes on a Friday morning. I left the course because the pace of play is so slow and the members there have no etiquette at all.

Decent course but a bit overpriced. $70 for 18 holes. Bunkers are in terrible shape, no real sand in them. Pace of play is slow. 5.5 hrs for 18. Was charged for 4 people instead of 3 which is what I had booked on the phone. (2 people doing 18 riding, 1 walking 9 holes only.) The lady at the pro shop had said $121 so I had tapped my debit card. Saw later on in my online banking it was $221. Called back was told I would have to speak with a manager the next day. Next day I call and request the manager, the lady who took my payment wouldn't put him on and got super defensive. I wasn't angry just…

A decent local golf course. Especially if you have players who are not very good or new to the sport. Not a lot of hazards and decently kept. Some of the tee blocks could use some maintenance.

5 HOURS & 55 MIN TO PLAY 18 is unbelievable I've been coming to this course once or twice a year for 12 years. Not anymore. BRUTAL course condition, greens were horrible, hard dry burnt "fairways", tee boxes very uneven and so beat up. 4 groups deep waiting on par 3s. Pay the extra $10 and play elsewhere around the region, this place is not worth the cost.

Edit: first trip was excellent, today was not. Paired with a lovely couple who are members, course was busy so we expected a wait. 4:40 to get to the 15th. Would have been 40 minutes easy to play last 3 holes, I gave up. Absolutely terrible pace, never saw a marshal. Course clearly over booked. First off on Victoria Day Monday. Course was in great shape, fresh cut and greens swept of dew. $56.50 tax in with cart is a great value on a holiday. Loved the course, will be back.
