Royal Manchester Golf Links is an exceptional golf experience from start to finish. The layout is very enjoyable, the course flows beautifully across the land, with strategic angles off the tee and well-placed bunkers that keep every hole interesting. It’s challenging without feeling unfair, and there’s a great balance of risk and reward throughout the round. The course conditions were impressive. Fairways were in great shape, the greens rolled smoothly, and the entire property was well maintained. With open views, natural landscapes, and great use of the terrain, Royal Manchester has plenty…

Golf was decent but I left my jacket on my cart. Called in when I realized halfway home, no answer or return call. Called in probably 10 times left multiple messages in past two weeks since I didn’t live close finally got ahold of someone. And they said they would check looks and found guess what no return call. So I stopped in and the guy didn’t even look yet was too busy playing games on his phone… seemed irritated I stoped in. Just poor customer service. Again golf course was fine but at least call me back. I probably won’t be returning.

Having played a good number of Scottish links I was a little worried what to expect at the Royal Manchester. But i should not have been, I was welcome by a young lad in the pro shop very enthusiastic of the course and its ability to please. The course despite being in Winter Season mode was excellent, fairways cut and tidy, first rough light and playable, the bigger rough cut back for winter and the greens despite only being treated with sand a number of weeks ago, were fast, firm and playable. I will definitely be back in the summer I hope.

My husband and I love Royal Manchester! It’s a challenging but beautiful course. The greens are in great condition as well as the fairways. They have a great range, putting area, as well as sand bunkers to practice. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s become our favorite course here in central PA.

Played here twice now and really like it. Course is in great shape and the staff’s always friendly. Pace of play slowed down a bit, but not a big deal. Just a nice, relaxed place to get a round in. I’ll definitely be back.

Just finished a six hour and 15 minute round. Not one Ranger. Nobody gave a crap that the group in front of us played like they owned the course. It never ceases to amaze me that worrying about customers has basically gone out the door. I’m pretty sure it was a group of about 25 members playing in front of us so why should they give a crap. Absolutely positively ridiculous to play over five hours. But like I said there was nobody from the course no management nobody that cared. I’ve always said. God keeps good books.

Played Royal Manchester on a Saturday morning. For as busy as it was on a Saturday morning, the round itself took about 5 hours. Factor in about a half hour of that was looking for balls. It was a little odd that for a Saturday morning, there was no starter or beverage cart going around (although, they did have water coolers on the course). The course itself was fair. It was our first time playing here, so if you weren't in the fairway or first cut of rough, consider it a lost ball. The sand trips could use some TLC, even though you shouldn't be in them. We would come back now that we know the…

Quality golf course in the Harrisburg area. Was looking forward to a business trip and the chance to try this linksy style course and it did not disappoint. More challenging that I anticipated, but that’s a welcome occurrence when hitting a course for the first time. If you could play it a few more times and really learn course management and shot placement, I think it would be a great “home course.” Fairways were in good shape and the greens really rolled true (very impressed with green conditions). Overall, definitely a solid course at this price point.

The course seems to be slowly going downhill in all facets. I play here a couple times a month and always find the pace of play a little slow, especially on the back 9. Today was really bad. The guys ahead of us teed off at 1:38 and left at 4:30 after the front 9. We teed off at 2:08 (after they moved us back from our scheduled 2:00) and left after the front 9 right around 4:35. The first two holes were clear as day, but as soon as we got to hole 3 we got to join the conga line that would persist through the rest of the round. The issue was they had a golf team or team event going on and still…

Charged me $20.55 today to share a cart with my buddy even though I said I wasn't playing and he paid for 18 with a cart. I play here weekly. I already hate this course because the pace of play is slow, but it's the last time I spend money here. Noon on a Friday in mid November, are you serious?

Great course condition and layout, greens were very well maintained. Huge disappointment due to very few water stations around the course and the ones they had were empty. Unacceptable for mid-July afternoon. As mentioned, the price has us looking at other options as it was $55 to ride after 2:00 on a weekday.

The worst management I have ever seen. Obviously the weather today was awesome, so everyone is trying to play. Our group had a 12:08 tee time- we arrive 20 minutes early to check in. They told us they are out of carts, and that there’s a wait for carts. Everyone’s tee time is playing “30 minutes behind.” We finally tee off at 12:35, it takes 6 HOURS to finish. Clearly way too overbooked for a money grab. Won’t be returning.
