In summary

Royal Oak Golf Club offers a convenient 9-hole course that is generally well-maintained, with some visitors appreciating the straightforward layout and friendly staff. However, there are consistent concerns about the pace of play, with some golfers experiencing delays and backed-up tee times. Additionally, some visitors have reported issues with course conditions, such as uneven tee boxes and wet areas, as well as negative interactions with staff.

I cannot justify here coming again. Walking into the course, the staff was very rude and unfriendly, and putting greens were atrocious. After teeing off, I noticed weeds everywhere and giant bare patches of soil in fairways. I came soon after rain, and there were giant patches of water everywhere and inside of the flag pole. On our very last hole, me and my buddy decided to have a little bit of fun and hit a few extra balls while we noticed the people behind were still on the last hole when the ranger hunted us down and very rudely told us that the group behind us has been complaining the who…

Absolutely terrible. Rude staff, tee times are terribly backed up, they have no idea how to contain or maintain pace of play, tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in ok shape but the rough is a total joke. This could be a great little course if it was run decently. Will not be back.

🏌️ Royal Oak Golf Course, Royal Oak: ⛳ Experience Golf at Royal Oak Golf Course, providing a convenient 9-hole course for golf enthusiasts. COURSE 👍: The course, while relatively basic, is well-maintained and suitable for a quick round of golf. It features straightforward fairways and greens. AMENITIES 👍: While not extensive, the course offers the essentials, including a golf range area and a Proshop for your golfing needs. Additionally, a small but decent-sized restaurant is conveniently located next to the Proshop. STAFF and MANAGEMENT 👍: The staff, including the starter, demonstrates pr…

Do NOT golf here. The staff was so rude, pushy, and extremely sexist. 4 of us girls went golfing and they commented on just about everything we did, told us everything we were doing was wrong, was closely monitoring our every move and made a snarky comment like "new golfers eh?". Only one of the staff members was extremely nice although still monitoring our every move. Not worth it.

It is a very enjoyable course with well maintained greens. There are some bare spots in fairways. Very friendly staff. Very easy to lose your ball if you are not in tbubhe fairway becuse of many leaves in the rough.

Only good thing about the course was the fairways and greens were fairly well maintained. The tee boxes were mostly uneven and not well kept and during the round the sprinklers for 2 of the holes turned on. Pace of play was horrendous, it took over 3 hours to finish 9 holes and we didn’t tee off until 25 minutes after our set tee time. Went on a Saturday morning and the worker in the pro shop was rude and impatient since we had a rider with us even though we called ahead to make sure it was permitted. Safe to say I will not be golfing there again.

Greens were inconsistent. Price was very high for 9 holes ($22 walking). Hadn't rained in a few days, but the course was soaked. Bunkers were ponds, cart paths were a mess. Made walking the course tough - thought I would save money by not renting the cart - I needed a cart to navigate a few of these spots on the course. The course looks nice from the outside, but once you get out there, there are some definite issues.

Greens are much better,Hole #4 can be tricky but achievable, beautiful course, Par 3 Hole#5 with T on the back prepare you for next long par 5 and Hole#9 can be long but nice way to finish round with nice challenging big green. One request for Maintenance to fix the Big Hump on par 3 holes

Surprisingly beautiful, well designed course. Very walkable with a nice mix of par 3,4,5's and they do a good job keeping the geese away. The pace of play can suffer during busy times if you end up behind a very slow 4some , which happens here more often based on the relative age of it's patrons. Playing through really isn't an option either during those times. Be wary that parking is also situated at the receiving end of the driving range. They don't allow drives over 250 but that doesn't stop everyone from trying and there is a net ( which needs some patch work). Overall it's well maintained…

These guys that work there are always so rude to everyone that they encounter. I was calling to make a tee time and the guy just hung up without saying anything, in a very disrespectful way like I’m not trying to provide them business. I’ve also encountered rude employees multiple other times. Terrible atmosphere to play golf in. Do not play here or give them your business.

Great 9 hole golf course. The greens are country club level and course in great shape. 13 mile/Woodward location is great. Practice green and chipping area are perfect for warmup before round or just practicing. Staff is great, Ranger Eugene is such a great guy, he makes you smile every time we play there. Keep it up, great place!!!

The rough around the tee boxes are better than the tee boxes. Might as well be sand boxes. Very tight-course thinks they’re funny with the trees around the tees. Fairways have as much green as the rough at Carnoustie in Scotland. Over priced by about double. Maybe would play for free, probs not.
