In summary

Westwynd Golf is frequently praised for its beautiful and challenging course layout, well-maintained greens, and scenic surroundings. The staff is generally regarded as helpful and professional, contributing to a positive overall experience. However, some visitors express concerns about the course's pricing, occasional maintenance issues, and strict policies, such as the lack of rainchecks and limited food options on the course. Additionally, the pace of play and pro shop service have been noted as areas needing improvement by some golfers.

This is one of the best courses on the area. By a long shot. Beautiful piece of land. Lots of elevation change. Challenging layout. Well maintained. I like that the cart paths made of paver stones are still really smooth after 20+ years. That’s a small detail that shows how well they take care of things. And clean and quiet electric carts are another small detail.

First class golf! Played by myself on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I arrived a little early and the starter let me take advantage of a hole in the tee sheet which allowed me to play at an ideal pace to take in the views and use some strategy which this course certainly requires. I came into the round with some uncertainty based on several reviews but once I got rolling I had a highly challenging yet enjoyable round. The course is manicured and the greens rolled true. A couple of the tee boxes were beat up but that's to be expected this late in the season and when folks don't fill their divo…

Westwynd is a fine golf course. Some holes are a little gimmicky, but their policy of no rainchecks (clearly disclosed) is too strict. I was forced to play today, or lose $320. But the fairways had standing water at their high spots and the bunkers were literal ponds. Any ball that found a bunker was lost because they were so deep and you could not see in them. The tee sheet was supposedly full, but the course was mostly empty. This is an apparent shortfall of the semi-private model because the members can book tee times every day and not show up without penalty. But non-members who book onli…

Nice track but a little gimmicky for me. Very tight course, hard to hit driver on most holes as there just aren’t clear landing areas in the fairway. A lot of drastic doglegs or just odd winding fairways. Tons of deep deep bunkers. I played well for me (47-45 from the tips) but felt frustrated at the design. Pro shop personnel weren’t very welcoming.

Westwynd golf course 👍👍👍 👍 👎🏿 Course 👍 - Greatly maintained . fairway good so as green. Lot of trees and sand bunkers make game tough. We enjoyed and will be back. Amenities 👍- no golf range area found. Proshop has food and drinks and beer cart girl in the course Staff & management 👍 starter and other staff members doing great job. Ok customer service Value of the money 👍- it's expensive and for 9 holes it's $35 on weekday but it's worth as it maintain decent. Pace of the play & direction 👎🏿 Pace of the play need to improve and we saw groups of 6 kids playing together. We played 9 holes an…

Westwynd is a challenging course. Has some very shaped fairways and you can get yourself into some real trouble. The design makes it fun. The greens are also tough. They are unforgiving and it’s important to land on a safe part of the green. This is one of the best public courses in the area and very well-maintained. Can be pricey during the peak season, but with the location and quality, it’s understandable. Looking forwards to some future rounds here.

November 8th and they are charging $67 to play. Course is in really bad shape. Greens aerated a month ago still are punched and difficult to putt on. Much better courses in the area Blackheath/Twin Lakes. Play those and save some money!!

Busy course, but very nice. One of the best in the area. The price is higher than average, but worth it. Can't wait to play again. A must try for for anyone looking for new courses to play.

Beautiful scenery, great course. Highly recommend stopping by for lunch even if you are not golfing. Service was excellent, shout-out to Sarah. Everything was made perfectly. Juicy chicken on my sandwich, jerk heat paired well with the grilled pineapple

There is a beautiful scenery and nice people. It’s my first time playing golf because of my firm event. I was in a beginner group. We barely know how to play golf except one girl with a little experience. But there is one employee helped us all the way through 18 holes. He taught us how to select clubs, how to hit the balls and how to use strategies. He even bought me a drink when I won his game. It’s a super nice experience. We all had fun. The dinner was good too. I definitely fell in love with playing golf. I will return there once I improved my skills.
