Buddy of mine invited me to play and it was in fabulous shape. If I lived in area, I would join in a heartbeat. Nine hole course but it is mature and challenging enough. There was a very nice lady on the course who just went out of her way to make us feel welcome as she was working in the beds and fixing fairways and greens. What a great couple hours.

I used to play this course with my dad when I was home from college or out in the work world back visiting my parents. To my dad, this was one of his favorite places in the world. The course was challenging even though it was nine holes. You made it 18 holes by playing the back nine from different tees. There are a couple holes where you shot blind and the foursome in front of you had to ring a bell to let you know it's okay to tee off.

Special golf course built in 1928 with old world appeal as you take a step back in time when golf course architecture used the land in special ways. There are lots of land movement and undulations which makes for fun play. Low key and exclusive at the same time.

Private but not snooty. Good course; beautiful, well maintained, playable. BYO food and drinks. Cookouts on Fridays. Don't have to be a top-notch golfer to enjoy and feel welcome.

My father and mother in law were long standing members. The staff graciously listened as my husband traveled down memory Ln., they even led us to the basement to see the Hall of Presidents. A grande day filled with joyous fond memories!

I had driven by before and wondered what course it was. I know most public courses.
