In summary

Royal Scot Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and excellent FootGolf facilities, creating a welcoming atmosphere for players of all ages. The venue is also noted for hosting successful events like craft shows. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about course layout confusion, slow pace of play, and maintenance issues affecting certain areas of the course.

This course is enjoyable to play and offers good value. The layout has some fun and challenging holes, and conditions are overall decent. The only downside is that the hole sequence isn’t well marked — we ended up on 19–27, then 15, and finally 1–9. Luckily, we played with someone who knew the course, otherwise it would have been quite confusing. Still, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s a solid spot for a relaxed round.

Royal Scot is one of the best FootGolf facilities in country. The management is unbeatable in their commitment to working with the players and putting on great events.

I attended the Craft Show as a vendor. I was very impressed with the size of the crowd! The venue was able to accommodate the flow of foot traffic, everything was accessible, and the organizers were very personable and great to work with. I'll definitely be applying for future events, and will be back to enjoy other services at this location!

Absolutely loved our round here! The fairways were beautifully manicured, and the greens were some of the best I've played in lower Michigan--smooth, true, and rolling right around a perfect 10.5. You can tell the crew takes real pride in the course. On top of that, the service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. It's clear they care about delivering a great experience. Can't wait to come! If you get a chance to play this one, don't miss it!!

We love bringing our kids out to Royal Scot as they’re learning the game. The course is clearly improving, even with the extremely dry summer, and it’s such a relief to have a place that doesn’t break the bank while still giving us a fun family golf experience. Great value and a welcoming spot for all ages and levels.

What a great and noticeable difference in play conditions. You can clearly see the difference from last year not only in overall play but appearance. The new superintendent knows his grass! [(No paint was used this summer...)]

As a footgolfer, I want to give a big thank you to everyone at Royal Scot for continuing to support and grow the sport. The new course is in great shape with well-thought-out pin placements, and it’s been a great addition alongside the original course. It’s always a fun and competitive experience out there, and having a fresh course to mix in keeps things exciting. I also really appreciate the flexibility and openness from your team to work with local guys (Talfik and Abdul), in keeping things creative and player-friendly. Always great to see a course actively working with the local footgolf…

This is by far the worst course in lansing. I love golf and I still wouldn't play here if it was the last course on this world. Gotta pay 10 extra dollars to play a golf course without footgolf holes being in the middle of the fairway. You have to play at a pace of 10 minutes a hole if you don't want to get pushed by the clubhouse. Used to love playing here and would tell people good things about this place. Just go bowling if you are here

The way they are doing the new layout is straight garbage. If you pay for 18 you should be able to play the good holes on the other side of the road. Won't be back unless it changes. Definitely ruined a decent track. Reply. . That is even worse news 🤣 so I can pay for 18 and make the turn and have to wait for someone just teeing off. That's what centennial does. And they are the worst owners around.

Course was not well maintained, you needed a hammer to get tee in tee boxes. Fairways were spotty and hard, greens rolled ok, but pretty slow. Would not play again ..

It was only $30 on a weekday morning and that's pretty much the only positive. Range grass was long shaggy and spotty. Most the tees were brown and without grass. A bunch of dug up areas where it looks like they had to repair irrigation. Just a dog track. Staff was friendly.

I've played this course for many many years. It's in the worst shape it's ever been. They don't move the pin locations, tee boxes and fairways are in rough shape. What happened?
