In summary

The Emerald at Maple Creek is widely praised for its excellent course conditions, beautiful layout, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained greens and fairways, as well as the quality of food and amenities offered. However, some guests have experienced slow pace of play and occasional issues with early tee times, which have affected their overall experience.

The staff and course are excellent. If you get drinks, they have little soft coolers that they put ice in for you. I highly recommend golfing here.

Played one week ago, April 10. The course was phenomenal as always, especially this early. The greens were as good as I've seen ever in the spring out here, and still rolling mighty quick. Staff very accommodating with getting me out on #10, with no bottleneck at #1. It's $64 all the time, with some twilight specials daily.

Always a great time at The Emerald. They are one of my favorite courses. Everything from check-in to the course to after round lunch is top notch. The course is very well maintained from tee box to green. The holes play normal but provide a bit of challenge on the greens. That makes this course fun to play. Everyone on staff is welcoming and friendly (you can even get a tip on how to play a hole by asking the grounds crew). I highly recommend this course to anyone.

The only thing better than the food and the service are the golf course conditions, and the food and the service are phenomenal! Make sure The Emerald is on your list to play. Private golf conditions at a great public rate provided by fantastic people!

We read some reviews but decided to try course ourselves. It was so overbooked we had 3 groups on tee boxes waiting, group in fairway and green on every hole all day. Went into clubhouse at turn and talked to staff with no results. It took 2 of us 5.5 hours to play 18 holes. It was a nice course but we will never go back.

Best golf experience in the area. Meet you at the parking lot with carts, friendly staff, great price for what you get in return. Fairways are perfect and greens are even better.

Very Slow. Our Tee Time was 11:20, and we couldn’t tee off until 11:35. The groups in front of us were extremely slow. There is no ranger to keep people moving. 18 Holes took 6 HOURS!! It’s a nice coarse but I can’t spend 6 hours playing it. Won’t go back

The. Best. Value. In the Lansing area, IMO. Resort "up north" feel. Tee boxes and greens are exceptional. (Greens are very fast, but hold well on chips). Gorgeous layout. Great use of natural space. Clubhouse and amenities are just fine. Exceptional for the price! Fairways and ground are well kept up, and there is a fair amount of penalty for going in the rough but not crazy-long. Can get crowded. The good: layout, greens, fairways, challenge, amenities, carts, beverage and food selection, "fun" factor....but mostly PRICE. $69 for 18 holes on this caliber course is great, but it gets jaw-drop…
