The staff at Ruffled Feathers was so accommodating with service and assistance in both planning and executing our Bridal shower event. My husband and I got married here on 9/21/24 and it was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is so gorgeous by itself, between the all white reception room, beautiful chandeliers and gorgeous bar that takes up the whole wall, we didn't really need much outside decor! We were able to comfortably fit 180 people with a huge dance floor in the middle and the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour was awesome for our guests to be able to spread out and get some fresh air. A fabulous place to have an event! We had our son’s Bar Mitzvah party at Ruffled Feathers and working with Kara Fanelli and the wonderful hospitality team was outstanding. Kara helped me to customize the menu for my needs and helped me layout a beautiful floor plan with the tables, double-sided buffet, dessert table and all of the other items that we wanted to feature at the event. Golfed 18 today 5/2/2026 and wish I could leave less than a 1 star review. Please do not golf here and accept those conditions. Sure the course has a decent layout and the fairways are decent. However, believe all of the reviews you read about the bunkers on GolfNow and other review sites. This has to be hands down the worst bunker conditions I’ve ever seen on a course. There is zero sand in the bunkers and they look like they all are under maintenance but that’s just the way they are. People I have spoke to said it’s been like this for a couple of years now. We had our wedding here last night and it was incredible! The venue is so beautiful and everyone was very professional. The food was amazing and there was never a line at the bar. We hired Kiley as our day of coordinator and she set up all our custom centerpieces perfectly, she kept everything on pace with our timeline, and made sure we always had drinks in our hands. It was the wedding of our dreams and the staff did such a great job making it so easy and seamless from planning to day of. I wish I could give more stars.

Doing Pete dye a disservice. They continue to let the course go down hill every year for the 10 years I’ve played it. Been 5 since I’ve last played it and won’t do it again unless there are new owners. Tee boxes and sand are rough or nearly unplayable conditions. It’s like a municipal course in chicago right now. Other than the fact the course was very wet due to recent storms I found the course quite challenging and enjoyable and would definitely play it again, hopefully when it’s not cart path only. Bunkers had standing water but like my son said, if you’re not a fan of them don’t get into them (I was in 3 bunkers, wet sand). Greens were in good shape, not too fast and not too slow. Staff was very friendly, so not sure what the earlier complaints were about. Love the layout! Only suggestion would be to have hybrid tees : white/gold, gold/grey.

We had my daughter’s baby shower on 11-15. It turned out perfectly! Everyone enjoyed the venue and the food was fantastic. Kara was a pleasure to work with and she was on top of everything.

This past weekend we held our annual athletic boosters here and let me be the first to tell you, this place and the staff are absolutely amazing! Our golfers are already asking to come back next year. Thanks for being great hosts and providing a great a course that is great shape. See you soon!
