In summary

Ruggles Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, offering a mostly flat and forgiving course layout that is accessible for golfers of varying skill levels. The staff generally receive positive remarks for their friendliness, although some newcomers feel less welcomed compared to regulars. While the course is often praised for its affordability and value, there are concerns about inconsistent maintenance, particularly regarding the condition of bunkers and greens, and some feel the pricing does not always reflect the quality of the course.

Nice course the fairways and the greens are nice not crowded at all the staff didn't really seem to friendly with newcomers but talkative with the regulars but that's ok overall a nice easy course

This is one of my "go to" golf courses. Well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Is almost flat, with challenging water and sand bunkers. Fairways are open with a few fairway bunkers. I play from the senior tees, so the stronger players are challenged a bit more than from where I play. Give it a try, I'm sure you will enjoy it as well.

Good long course, wide fairways, relaxed pace. Tee sheet usually open enough for a walk on single or a short notice 2 or 3. Staff is friendly. Do wish they had flexible rates throughout the day however.

Good easy course especially after not playing for a year or so. Affordable price with cart. First time on the course in many years. Staff were nice and facilities were clean. Will be going back soon.

It's easy access now that the entrance is outside of the gate. Use the same driveway as the visitor's center and then just keep right. If you are going on a Friday or weekend I recommend calling ahead for tee times. There are a lot of outings during the warmer months. A nice course with a few long holes. Mostly flat.

Great 👍🏽 course! For the price, maybe, the best value in Hartford County! Membership fees are incredible! Make sure you inquire!

The staff were polite and helpful. The players were nice and courteous. The course was in very good shape. My husband enjoyed playing the course. This was one of our last eleven courses to play to complete our bucket list of playing in all 50 states. My husband worked at Edgewood Arsenal in the beginning of his government career. He is a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Army. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Place is horrible wouldnt go unless you want to just mess around the whole time. That's how most of the members play.
