In summary

The Wetlands Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout, with many visitors appreciating the overall condition of the course and the friendly staff. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the pace of play and occasional course congestion, with a few noting issues with certain areas of the course and the effectiveness of marshals. Despite these criticisms, the course generally provides a positive golfing experience, particularly for those seeking a challenging round.

Course was GREAT! From the guy in the clubhouse to the lady handing out carts it was a good experience. Course was in great shape also. Especially with playing alot of courses with terrible greens. This courses greens were cut close and lightning fast. It was a different experience but it was well maintained. It was over a 2 hour drive for me to get here and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend

Course was in decent shape, $75 is hard to beat in the Baltimore area. Layout was challenging and interesting, but there was a lot of overlap and congestion between holes. There were multiple marshals on the course, none of them having an impact on pace of play, but entire staff was friendly. Fairways and greens were good, tee boxes and pace of play were not. Ranking out of ten based on public golf: Greens: 7.8 - hard greens, rolled well Fairways: 7.6 - long-ish but pretty good Rough: 5.1 - lots of bare spots Layout: 7.9 - challenging but congested Pace of Play: 5.1 - 4.75 hour round Staff: 8…

Simply put, the course is a dirt track. You will pay $60+ for a 18 hole round that is below average. Matter of fact is Willow Springs Course is $35 and the course there is 2x as nice and plays a lot smoother. It was also obvious and apparent that when they did there hole changing, they did not roll over them as nearly all holes had raised edges. Greens are also like concrete. Just under a 4 hour round was the only positive.

Most important this is Not worth the money, grass around the greens is almost unchipable, too much dirt and divots. Fairway drives left me in dirt patch 4/5 times over the round. Most holes are cut wrong, the ball will roll backwards as it approaches the pin. This is just bad golf. To make things worse The staff here is terrible. You will not be treated nicely. Somehow I have been here 3 times, i meet a friend half way which is the only reason - I won’t return after the last time. This is technically a golf course but a terrible golf experience. If you even remotely dislike trump don’t go, you…

I had a good time at this course! Started a little late because of a frost delay but smooth sailing after that. The course was nice despite some of the recent weather we have had. Nice fairways, smooth greens. There were some challenging holes including a par three which was nice. I'm pretty close to the course so I will most likely play again. I am a fan of the bar/grill room too.

If your not from harford county and I'm from New York I never ever knew of this golf course. We went at 230 pm. It was perfect, no lines no congestion and a relaxing day of golf. Greenscwere fibe. Layout was typical. The only concerned was the cart. No enough juice and the orice was reasonable. Im told they can offer 9 holes to. The day we went it was so hot! I definitely would go here again. Located in Aberdeen near Ripkin Stadium. I hidden gem for Harford county residents or even Cecil county. On my scale of 1 to 5. I give these guys a 100! Nothing fancy but if you want a course and not wait…

For 55 riding I really don’t expect much. The course really surpassed my expectations. Sure there are a few holes with problems. Some with quite a bit of trash present and a rickety bridge, but a majority of really nice challenging holes. Starter was pleasant and gave the necessary details. Food at the turn was well priced. Marshals were out but don’t think they were moving groups. Cons were tiny bunker rakes. Please put one or two more out per hole and buy the full size bunker rake! Range was closed. Otherwise great round and will be back.

A special 'far and few between' family owed country course. Worth more than they charge. Each well groomed fairway presents its own unique challenges and each well manicured green runs fast and true. Great conditions from tee to pin. Kudos to the owners. A memorable round. Unfortunately, this little golf oasis is closing at the end of the 2024 season. If your just passing through, it's well worth the visit. And for the locals, I'm sure Wetlands will be missed.

Played on a Friday morning. Course was overall in pretty good shape except the tee boxes which are not very trim and not level. Some of the nicest sand I've played in. Layout itself is nothing special but some of the greens are very small and narrow. Some of the pins were 10' or less from edge of the green, never played a course where they were so close to the edge. Notable holes are 11 and 18 which I enjoyed. Nice small grass range. Decent price.

Course was in great shape. Not a good experience. Our Tee time was 20 minutes after our scheduled time due to them adding 2 other groups somewhere in the 2 hours before our time. Play took us 5.5 hours. Play again 4.19.25. Same experience. Tee off 8 min late. Group in front not playing correct tees and playing whites. (Driver on both front par 3s and other 3 wood)
