Running Deer Golf Club

This past Sunday, my wife surprised me with a round at Running Deer for my birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect gift! The course is absolutely stunning—massive greens, challenging fairways, and beautifully crafted through the woods. The staff was friendly, helpful, and, bonus, Eagles fans, which made the experience even better! I can’t say enough about this course and am already looking forward to playing here again.

I had my wedding here this past weekend and if i could re-do it, i would have my wedding here 1000000 times. Throughout the wedding planning process, Riley and Kate have been a dream team to work with. Always very friendly and quick to answer any questions. My wedding day was perfect and I didn’t have to lift a finger to do a single thing. Amazing wedding venue..my daughter's ceremony and reception were perfect. The food was outstanding and the staff went well above what we expected. Thank you Donna and Jess for making this day extra special for my daughter.

Son's wedding ceremony and reception held here. Was not directly involved in the planning, but thoroughly enjoyed the personalized service and hosts that made the night go seamlessly. Enjoyed the firepit during the cocktail hour and available all during the reception, being right outside the main venue. Bridal party able to relax & get ready downstairs. Golf cart available for those who could not walk. Photographer, video, DJ/MC, photo booth operator, florist, and caterer from venue all worked seamlessly. We had our wedding at Running Deer Golf Club in June 2023 & it was the BEST day of our lives! If I could give Running Deer & their staff 500 stars I would. We didn't love the idea of a seated dinner, so they helped us throw the best cocktail reception with plenty of delicious food and so much time for dancing. Went to a wedding recently and it was a beautiful event. It was all inside due to the weather since it was a December wedding but I’m sure the grounds would be beautiful for an outside wedding. The cocktail hour was nice. The venue was decorated for the holiday season which was gorgeous. The food selection was delicious, the wait staff was pleasant. Enjoyable evening.

My husband and I got married at Running Deer Golf Club in April 2024, and I can’t express enough how impressed and grateful we are with this venue. We had our wedding at Running Deer on May 30th, 2025 and it was absolutely the best day ever!! Besides the venue being absolutely stunning and the food and drink being delicious, it was the people that work here that really sold us on this place. Kaitlyn was my go to girl throughout the entire planning process and she was so helpful and never ever made me feel like I was being annoying or bothering her with all my emails! Haha. Came for a special event. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The event hall is very pretty and can hold about 10 round tables with room for dancing. The dinner was average catering food, a little bland in my opinion. There was prime rib, very fatty, bland salmon and a chicken dish. The chocolate dessert table had a great selection of mini pastries and cakes to sample from. It was delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful and kept tables clear. I would recommend this place for special occasions.

The overall experience here is amazing. From planning to the day of, the communication was top tier. For the morning, Jess was assisting us and decorated everything and followed our directions to a T. She was attentive and made sure we were good all morning! Donna was our night time concierge and I loved every second with her. She truly is in angel and made sure we were never without drinks. My husband and I got married here on August 16 and it was nothing short of perfect! From the breathtaking grounds, delicious food and beverage, and the service- we couldn’t have asked for better. Jessica and Kaitlyn were both amazing and always were there throughout the whole planning process when I had any question or concern! Running Deer is by far the most amazing venue ever! We are so happy with the hospitality ! Amazing amazing experience! If you’re having an upcoming wedding here do not stress they treat you like a queen! We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding here!
