In summary

Latona Golf Course is often praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, affordable rates, and enjoyable 9-hole layout, making it a popular choice for both beginners and experienced golfers. Recent improvements, such as new cart paths and tee boxes, have enhanced the overall playing experience. However, some visitors have reported issues with customer service, citing unwelcoming interactions with staff, and there are occasional concerns about slow pace of play and certain policies.

Really is the best kept secret in South Jersey. Probably play here 12-15 times a year and love it every time. Fun layout and they keep it really well maintained for a course with such an affordable rate. Skip your range sessions and go out for a twilight 9 here instead! Comparable price, but way more fun.

Looks great!! Tee boxes are great only a couple still in the process. They paved some of the cart paths! Enjoyed playing there today!

The price isn’t as great as it seems given the lack of upkeep for the course. However, I’d be willing to look past that if the customer service wasn’t so tragically poor. The older man running the club house was extremely unwelcoming and condescending. Even started our round with nearly threatening us that he already warned us about rules that we already acknowledged and never broke (playing in a group larger than 4). After, telling him 20 times we understood he just continued to basically scold us like children. Not very Christian like, I don’t think Jesus would do that.

Most greens were nice. Fairways were ok. Staff were so rude. We were told we used the wrong door to get into the pro shop. We were told we were playing to slow. The foursome was a group of first year and second time players, so finding balls took time.

1st time at this course. 1.Customer service by Sharon was superb... She greeted me with a huge smile and a warm hello and welcome. I felt like i was in the South... She answered every question... 2. Fairways and greens were beautiful even after almost 2 inches of rain the day before. 3. Pace of play was great. 4. Other players were friendly. 5. Course was challenging and lots of fun. Latona CC is a hidden gem. Ill definitely be back again every week or so.

Didn’t get to play. There’s a no kids rule. So I left. I’m sure it’s for a good reason hence I gave them two stars. But my son is well behaved and loves Golf. So instead we went somewhere else that welcomes kids. How are we to continue expanding golf towards kids if they aren’t allowed to play. It’s already a hard sport and Mini golf can only go so far. They need to experience true golf. And we did somewhere else.

The new cart paths are such an improvement to the course. While other courses seem to invest less and less into improving their courses, Latona has made significant improvements over the past few years

The course is well maintained. Recent improvements to the T boxes.greatly enhance the appearance of the course. Greens are slower than most courses but usually in good shape. With only 9 holes and no required T times, it can get a bit crowded causing play to be slow. The owners are very friendly and always greet you with a smile when you arrive.
