In summary

White Oaks Country Club receives praise for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and engaging course layout that challenges players with its tight fairways and well-maintained greens. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the inconsistent condition of the fairways and tee boxes, as well as issues with course management, including slow pace of play and inadequate maintenance of sand traps. Additionally, there are complaints about booking and cancellation policies, which have caused frustration among some patrons.

Course conditions have improved a lot. The greens are in good shape. Fairways are pretty good except some still have a few very dry spots with thin grass. Rough is sparse in some areas. Sand traps mostly are a thin layer of dirt with compressed soil underneath. They now have the screen with tech in the cart. Only problem it thinks some cart paths are restricted areas.

I love golfing here. When i'm not here, I wish I was. They've been improving it every year since I moved. The places you look that are tore up are because of use/misuse. Fix your divots, pick up your broken tees, and keep the carts on the cart path at every opportunity. You really can't expect the grounds crew to keep up with ALL this damage.

Cart attendant and pro shop clerk were horrible at their jobs. No hello no greeting, seemed bothered by our presence. Too busy watching TV and feeling put out by their job responsibilities. Not coming back. Bartender and kitchen staff were great. Course was ok and in decent condition.

Course needs a lot of work. Fairways were terrible, some holes you couldn't tell the difference between rough and fairways. Crabgrass on every fairway. Staff were very nice and friendly and helpful but it's obvious that management doesn't put a lot of emphasis on course maintenance.

Staff was very nice and the facility looks like it was recently renovated, however I have never played a more beat up track. It was easily in the worst shape of any golf course I have ever played. I was embarrassed for inviting my friend to join me there. I cannot imagine ever playing there again.

The staff is great and the price is fair. The course is in ok shape, although they really should put some actual sand in the sand traps. Odd because there's no shortage of sand in that part of New Jersey. All tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good shape. Greens were really slow today. You have to place your shots well or you can end up in some bad spots. I liked it though. Pace of play was good.

Good track. Tee boxes were a bit rough, but very playable. Fairways were better than average. Greens were perfect. Great cuts. Straight and long, but good trap placements.

Poorly run course. After arriving warly for our 3:18 tee time we had to wait about a half hour past our time because the course ran out of carts!! Finally when someone came off 18 we where given cart but told they didn’t know if it would last the round because they also ran out of gas!!! Seems comical but then the fun really begins. After a 1/2 delay with no groups going off in front of us there was still 2 groups in the 1st tee box! The front nine took over 3&1/2 hours to play with not a single ranger in sight. We were told “ he was inside relaxing”. This course is absolutely nothing to see h…

Place is amazing. I love playing golf here. The course is great layout, not the best shape not the worst shape. Nothing to complain about for being a public course. The staff is super friendly and i feel like i “fit in”. If it weren’t for Nick i probably wouldn’t have ever found this place. This is my go to 18 hole course. Very affordable.

5.5 hour round. Over charged 10 dollars over what it said online to book tee time. No starter or ranger. They left the poor cart kid to field multiple complaints all day. Course is made for helmets with little to no golf experience, and management has embraced this apparently. Will not return.

Mowers need cleaned. Leaving clippings on the fairways course is on its way to being very nice!!!

Won a tournament here… won a free round of golf… I’d gladly play here again even if i had to pay. Some greens and fairways had some weeds growing in them. Nothing that ruined my game though.
