In summary

Ryder Golf Course receives positive feedback for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both casual and seasoned golfers. Many appreciate the affordability and amenities, such as the snack bar and pro shop. However, some visitors express concerns about slow pace of play on weekends, outdated facilities, and issues with golf carts and tee time management.

The good: The price! I enjoy the course layout, especially the front 9. It has some challenging shots that requires shot shaping. The greens are small and challenging and are well taken care of. They are not patches with weeds etc.. The staff was nice and the course conditions are good. The bad: The pace of play on the weekends is brutal. Getting stuck behind a group of people on a 5-6 hour pace is unacceptable. They need a marshal to keep things in order on the weekends. Remember that you need access to main post to play

Good Course, a couple of challenging holes, a couple of blind shots so you have to trust yourself. A couple of doglegs that make you play smart. Good change in elevation while playing. Staff is great. Highly recommend.

Haven’t played here in years. I was very surprised how good the course looked. The greens and fairways were in great shape. Greens are small and a little firm, but that’s expected with new greens. Will definitely be going back to play.

Good golfing but the carts are absurdly bad, very slow and the moment you get off the path it shuts down with several areas where the cart would just shut down even on the path. You had to reverse up to the next hole frequently. Explained the issue but they said all the carts have this problem

After the renovations, the course is MUCH better. The grounds keepers have been working like crazy to keep the course in shape, and everyone in the pro shop I've interacted with has been very cordial. 👍👍 The greens are crazy tough, though.

Course is in good shape and the grill is great. It's the last place MWR even has a TV.

Very nice golf course. The greens and sand traps are very well maintained. Some of the fairways could use some turf, due to dead grass/sand common in the area. If you are military, the prices can't be beat. In the summer they have twilight hours. 6$ for 9 holes is incredible. Can get busy at popular times, but overall a great course. Edit: Recently the staff/management have not been great. I have always hated that you are charged twice for one cart in groups, but they made my friend rent his own clubs, which were awful. I am very displeased.

The greens are god awful, it's like trying to land a ball on concrete. The fringe is in bad shape and the course is overgrown and unkempt. The only real bright spot was the staff.

Ryder Golf Course has come leaps and bounds. Starting with staff that has always been amazing: they are friendly and straight forward. They will go the distance to help. You can’t find a golf course that is this amazing for the price. From twilight deals to just playing on the weekend. It’s worth it. There has been a lot of work that has gone into it over the past couple of month but will say that it’s not going unnoticed. THANK YOU! Before I wasn’t going to get a membership but now you have changed my mind on the great value it is with great course. The Divot! Great food and made with care fo…

Played there on opening day for members and it was amazing what they did to this course! You could tell they did a serious overhaul and put everything into it! The greens were challenging and I will be playing here more often.
